How can Oasis be on 6.2 million sales - it only passed 5.7 million a few weeks ago!

The only list I’m interested in is the biggest albums of all time. Post millennium lists, especially those solely based on streaming, and divided into decades mean absolutely nothing to me.

Surely because most of their sales were pre 1994? Isn’t Thriller 25 counted separately? Aren’t ABBA GOLD and Rumours also due upgrades based on all time sales?

This whole situation with Man I Need and the amount of weeks it's missed at number one is an absolute joke. How can the Official Chart have any credibility when by far and away the most popular song for over 2 months is not number one!

According to Music Week, Rein Me In is on 25,697 sales and So Easy on 24,182.

I see more representation of new artists on the airplay, It does exactly that I.e. reflecting current listening trends from actually a wide demographic

So even more manipulation, diminishing further the representation of popularity

Ironically if ACR wasn't a thing a lot of the songs reset wouldn't be entering!

Wish the BPI would combine WHAM!'s physical sales so the platinum status reflects its total sales. Same goes for Band Aid and Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody, and all singles/albums pre-1994.

True! I typed in Michael Jackson - Thriller (single) but it lists 2014 as the earliest certification date which is incorrect.

Can the Offical Charts and BPI ever give us correctly functioning sites! Doing a certification search for one song/album shouldn't be so laborious! I mean, have a drop down box like the RIAA to show certication history of a particular song/album!

More ridiculous manipulation imo, distorting the chart completely, rendering its measurement of popularity meaningless. Might as well move christmas classics altogether and have a catalogue christmas chart.

I think they should and introduce a catalogue chart. As well as this, scrap ACR.
