But why quit the States, when he has a mansion in La La Land where the sun always shines? Because he’s a dad — soon to be for the second time, as wife AYDA is four months pregnant. The star is adamant that he wants their daughter Teddy and the new arrival to be educated in England. And even though wife Ayda is Turkish-American, Robbie is keen for his kids to have an English accent. Robbie spoke exclusively to Bizarre about his decision. He said: “I love LA. The people and the weather are great but it’s not England. It can’t offer the same. “Things change when you’re a dad — there are people to look after who are more important than yourself. “I want Teddy and the new baby, whatever it may be, to be educated in England.” When we caught up with Robbie, he was sitting eating sushi — it would have been a bag of chips before he became a dad. He told us: “I look after myself now — I have to. Not only for my appearance but I have to be fit for on the road and for running around after Teddy.” And although Robbie has talked about moving home before, this time he has no choice after completing the purchase of a £2.5million mansion in North London. Robbie revealed: “Teddy is already surrounded by English people so she’s bound to have an accent anyway. “But that’s not the point — we want to educate her in London. “We’ve just bought a ruddy big house so we had better be coming back!” That’s not the only reason Robbie is returning to Blighty though — he loves British telly, especially classic comedy repeats.
