Performed in English by Kathy Kirby, the song is sung from the perspective of a woman who express your love by someone, she has loved for the first time in her life: "But now my heart has recovered. From past affairs that turned wrong. All my dreams are uncovered. I belong, I belong, I belong" Eurovision classic. One from the best British songs in this song contest. Sad, that she was a ESC participant in one year with France Gall. The single wasn't successful in UK with a peak position at # 36.

Unlike many of her contemporaries she never established herself as a touring act, but instead relied on television and radio exposure to bring her records to the public's attention. Her first single "Don't Make Me (Fall In Love With You)" reached # 48 in UK. Obviously the gambit failed, and after her follow-up single "Don't Hurt Me" completely failed to register she disappeared from sight. Two decades after this song also was released on "Girl Zone" compilation with some 60s pop stars (Lulu, Kathy Kirby, Marianne Faithfull).

In the late 1960s, she went back to country music and released the album "This Is Sue Thompson Country" in 1969.
