  1. 150. Liberty X // Just a Little // May 2002 So much better than anything Hear'Say ever did, I was a big Liberty X fan for about 18 months bItgfoBl4wE
  2. 151. Usher // Yeah // March 2004 The song that really began my Usher fixation of 2004. I was completely obsessed with him all year though "Yeah" is one of only 2 singles from the album to actually make it onto this chart. Hy-5d4r_6Y8
  3. 152. The Kooks // Ooh La // July 2006 More from The Kooks now who were my favourite new band of 2006, they've got one more entry to come but it won't be for a while yet fVUD2pvytQ4
  4. 153. Blue // One Love // November 2002 If you were too cool for Westlife back in 2002 you liked Blue. I certainly did, they were decent for a boyband GFGPSx6cPN0
  5. How could I forget Lulu? If you discount her featuring on "Relight My Fire" she's never had a solo number one single

When is Diana Vickers coming up? I actually quite liked The Boy Who Murdered Love (and Once as well if truth be told)
  7. Also, Snow Patrol as many other bands like them have managed a #1 which Snow Patrol have never managed. I was shocked also when I found out Dolly Parton only has one top ten single to her name! Mary J Blige as well, the womans been around for 20 years and has been successful
  8. God, I forgot about Alicia Keys! Hopefully she'll get one with "Girl on Fire" which would also give Nicki a number one as well as it's great. I'm going to add Nickleback as well as they've had some big hits
  9. For me I would have to say Janet Jackson. For quite a long time she was one of the biggest stars in the world so it really surprises me she never managed that feat on British shores I would also add Avril Lavigne (Girlfriend), TLC (No Scrubs), Savage Garden (Truly, Madly, Deeply) , REM (Everybody Hurts) and Aerosmith (Don't Wanna Miss a Thing) as well as they all have had massive singles that I actually thought had got to number one but didn't.
  10. 154. S Club Juniors // New Direction // October 2002 The first of 3, yes 3, entries here from the S Club Juniors who I actually quite liked in 02-03, mainly because I had a mad crush on Frankie mind but still they did release some decent songs that probably would be acclaimed if they weren't sung by the S Club Juniors! Holy crap, this song is 10 years old now! Where does the time go? pwcfFDvsN-I
  11. 155. Girls Aloud // The Show // July 2004 The song that really kicked off Girls Aloud's critical acclaim that would follow them for the rest of their career. I was already a firm fan by this point and "The Show" being popular amongst my peers at the time made me feel quite superior as for once I was ahead of trend eGUIE844hxk
  12. 156. Usher // U Remind Me // August 2001 Though the "Confessions" era really sold him on me, back here is where it all started for Usher & I. One of the RnB highlights of 2001 it was the first, and to date one of the only, times I was genuinally gutted a song didn't get to #1 XIkLiT-qLms
  13. 157. JoJo // Leave (Get Out) // August 2004 Probably shouldn't still listen to this as often as I do  but I just love it so much damn much. Jojo has stated she doesn't like her debut era and whilst I'd agree as the rest of that album is AWFUL at least in the grand scheme of things she had a great debut single ggWyUEuGcWY
  14. Nature's Law is fantastic, Beep is a bit of a blemish for the Pussycat Dolls as it's the only weak single from their fantastic first era (I don't count Wait a Minute as that wasn't a UK single)
  15. Atomic Kitten's "Whole Again" is surely very close? An X Factor performance could just do it Katy Perry - Firework because it was massive and stuck around for ages; I Kissed a Girl as it was number one for five weeks and maybe California Gurls as that was fairly massive too Girls Aloud - Sound of the Underground. Shame it was released as sales were dipping at the end 2002 into 2003, had it been released in a healthier sales climate it definitely would've passed a million. Same with The Black Eyed Peas "Where Is The Love" (6 weeks at #1)

I love "Good Life" though it's a right time, right place kind of record. I was in quite a good time in my life when that came out. My personal Kanye Top 5, though I am no fan, would be 1. All of the Light 2. Love Lockdown 3. Good Life 4. Runaway 5. Through The Wire Blow is terrible hopefully "Die Young" will give her another #1 as that is truly amazing I agree that Scouting for Girls songs all sound pretty much the same, but I actually like them all!
