  1. 177. Calvin Goldspink // Don't Fail Me //September 2009 How I stumbled across this masterpiece is still simply quite beyond me but I'm very glad as it's fantastic. I really thought it was going to be massive when I first heard it but three years later and nothing means I seem to be one of the only people who know this hidden treasure. For anyone who recognizes the name, yes this is the boy from S Club Juniors. aebpMWbd1cQ
  2. 178. The Script // Breakeven // January 2009 The Script were deffinately my favourite band on the late 00's, their debut album being my most played on Itunes during that time anyway. Breakeven only managed a weekly peak of #7 on my personal chart but between December 2008 and November 2009 was always in the Top 40 somewhere MzCLLHscMOw
  3. 179. Rihanna // Unfaithul // July 2006 I know many hate this but I really liked it at the time. First appearance of many for Rihanna in this chart; her 00's output is a lot stronger than her 2010's output in my opinion rp4UwPZfRis
  4. 180. The Black Eyed Peas // Don't Phunk With My Heart // May 2005 I was a serious BEP loon back in 2005 so was very, very excited about this song and it didn't dissapoint. They went down hill with their next two albums and with the exceptions of Meet Me Halfway and Just Can't Get Enough, I've pretty much hated everything they've done the past few years. A shame as they were once so good P4Bda6_usuc
  5. 181. Vanessa Amorosi // Absolutely Everybody // October 2000 So, picture a soon to be nine year old me watching the Closing Ceremony of the 2000 Sydney Olympics and (apparently; I can't actually remember doing this) dancing around the room with my brother and sister like maniacs because we loved this song so much. I hadn't heard it for years until it popped up in Gezza's current thread a few weeks ago, I've listened to it again and I'm back in love Here's that Olympic performance GgXTBqiKE3k
  6. 182. Fall Out Boy // Dance, Dance // March 2006 Ah, Year 9 memories  Last time in my life I was a stupid little kid without a care in the world. Most people seem to hate them but I was quite fond of old Fall Out Boy C6MOKXm8x50
  7. Weird that as you started to feel distanced from the chart I began to get really into them. I was 13 when Pon De Replay came out and I really liked it but Rihanna's done a lot better
  8. 183. Britney Spears // Born To Make You Happy // January 2000 Right back to the beggining of the decade now with what was the second UK #1 for Britney, though it was actually her 4th consecutive #1 on my chart and the only song on this rundown that was on my chart in the 1990's. It charted at #23 on my final chart of that decade Yy5cKX4jBkQ
  9. 184. Nelly Furtardo // Try // March 2004 Unpopular opinion maybe but the 'Folklore' era is actually my favourite era of Nelly's. Try also succeeds where a lot of ballads don't tend to with me - in that I can actually listening to it without getting bored and switching it off (Take that ADHD) 3--1Kw2UHDQ
  10. 185. The Veronica's // 4Ever // May 2006 Officially the first song I discovered via YouTube now and it didn't get a release in the UK until 3 years later. Not that I was bothered by that, I quite liked the fact it was my little secret qqeHuk07X60
  11. Thanks for the comments nice to know I'm not alone on this

Eugh don't get me started. I get nervous everytime I see Noddy Holder
  13. 186. Girls Aloud // Something Kinda Oooh /October 2006 First entry now for my favourite girl band of the decade and they will be making plenty more appearances in this chart. I'm particulary fond of this song as it was the song that was playing when I first kissed Jennifer, still my girlfriend now after 6 years, at a party when we were 14. Wy3SV2fvoG8
  14. I really don't like Mariah Carey (or Ballads, to be honest) but there's something brilliant about We Belong Together
  15. Thank you. I thought they both seemed a bit high; luckily Make You Feel My Love made the T200 year-end in 2010 and 2011 so I've got an accurate amount until Y/E 2011 just need to find the sales for this year now. I've also got the 2010 figures for Alicia Keys as well. Thank you for pointing those out As for the dated figures, I can only update as and when I find any information. I'd be glad to know a place where I could find more up to date figures though

Call Me Maybe overtakes Only Girl and could potentially overtake Price Tag and climb to #3 by the end of October. New entries in the Top 100 come from Taylor Swift, Nicki Minaj, Rita Ora and Emeli Sande October should bring some new tracks into the T100 with new songs from Rihanna, Ellie Goulding, Taylor Swift, Adele, Nicki Minaj and Christina Aguilera all being released
  17. 187. Son of Dork // Ticket Outta Loserville // November 2005 I know it's bad, you know it's bad. Clearly the 2005 me did not agree with this song spending 2 weeks at #2 on my personal chart. Embarrassing  JNTqvIVQkBk
  18. 188. Razorlight // America // October 2006 In some ways this song is a kind of reflection of my childhood. Born in 1991 I did seem to spend a lot of my early life watching trouble in America. I remember witnessing the 9/11 attacks live on TV (I was home sick that day) and with the subsequent wars it deffinately seems as if my childhood was spent watching 'trouble in America'. That's my reflection anyway. V9NhncU5_CE
  19. 189. T.A.T.U // All The Things She Said // February 2003 Pretty sure this was the video that introduced me to the concept of lesbianism ^_^ Never the less I actually did really love this song for about three months and though it never managed to get passed #3 on my personal chart it stuck around for a hell of a long time. Shame their subsequent releases didn't please me in the same way; I liked All About Us but soon realized it was pretty much the same song 8mGBaXPlri8
  20. 190. Hilary Duff // Wake Up // November 2005 There really isn't much Disney related stuff in this countdown (this is 1 of 2) but I just found this song so addictive in late 2005. Duff had been a favourite of mine for some years by that point and as much as I do love her earlier stuff I now see it as a bit cringey. Wake Up is an exception though, a brilliant little pop song that takes me back to the last time in my life where I was a kid with no worries in the world OguSuFENucg
  21. 191. Sugababes // Too Lost In You // December 2003 My second favourite girlband of the decade make their first appearance on their chart with Too Lost In You. A song from the middle of the bands 02-05 golden era when they were actually respected in the music industry. They've kinda become a laughing stock now with all the member changes but for a period of about four years they were bloody fantastic wo07t6XjNO4
  22. 192. Angel City // Sunrise // February 2005 Bet I'm the only one who remembers this! I adored this track for ages when it came out, I'm not a dance music fan normally and I really have to like a song to listen to it by choice. x0ekElyQfqI
  23. 193. Nelly Furtardo // All Good Things (Come to an End) // November 2006 My personal favourite single from the 'Loose' era now is the first of four entries for Furtardo on this countdown. I wasn't too pleased about her more urban direction as I loved her previous albums but even I couldn't deny what a gorgeous little number this was 4pBo-GL9SRg
  24. 194. Chris Brown // Forever // June 2008 There was actually a time in my life when I really liked Chris Brown but since that incident I just can't bring myself to like him again. I did love Forever though, most people prefer With You but I just find that so dull. Forever is like a livelier With You and I loved it's use in the Pam & Jim wedding episode of the office 5sMKX22BHeE And for my own amusement J3Nxerpkvnc
