Top 100 Best Selling Female Singles of the Decade So Far
86. Alexandra Burke feat. Flo Rida - Bad Boys (191,000) Welcome to the countdown Burkey! Your career maybe effectively over now thanks to floppage of your latest single and album but it is worth remembering in early 2010 she was on top of her game, in fact this is the first of four appearances for her in our chart (Elephant is also at #120 if any one wondered). Bad Boys was her first official release following her X Factor win and released in November 2009 it immediately hit #1 only to be dethroned a week later by Alex's own X-Factor mentor Cheryl Cole. Never the less the single was huge and charted well into this decade selling 191k. As the song goes, it's actually alright and probobaly my favourite from her QprjWU7PXXo

87. Ke$ha - Your Love Is My Drug (184,700) Here she is again, whilst I'll admit YLIMD is better than Blah Blah Blah that still doesn't actually make it any good. A #13 single for her in the summer of 2010 this song seemed inescapable for me, my then thirteen year old sister was obsessed with at had it on loop for a month. Sad times :(. She's still got two more songs to come as well, no prizes for guessing what they are but which do you think is higher? QR_qa3Ohwls

Top 100 Best Selling Female Singles of the Decade So Far
88. Cher Lloyd feat. Mike Posner - With Ur Love (175,000) Cher's follow up to her number one single 'Swagger Jagger' was this sweet collaboration with US (kind of) star Mike Posner best known for his 2010 hit 'Cooler Than Me'. The song was released in October 2011 and made #4 in the charts, it's a distinct improvement on 'Swagger Jagger' but pales in comparison to her next release 'Want U Back' which only reached #25 in the UK but seems to be doing the business in the US hitting the Top 20 there this week axpO86pGHAM

Gezza's Review Of Every No 2 Single 2000-2004
Yeah never was too keen on 'Love Machine' I thought it was a bit too silly. I do like 90% of what they've released though take out Jump, Long Hot Summer, I Think Were Alone Now and Walk This Way with you got a damn near perfect discography

89. Jessie J - Who's Laughing Now (174,600) Bare in mind the only figures I have for certain songs is there 2011 year-end figures, I'm aware that this has probably sold more but I'm not sure how much exactly. Anyway exciting times as we welcome Jessie J to our countdown, all of her singles thus far will crop up at some point and with 7 entries she's only behind Rihanna and equal with Katy Perry in numbers of entries on the chart an impressive start and, with Adele and Katy Perry, is the only act to have all her singles from the decade chart . The fourth cut from 'Who You Are' this single was released in September 2011 and peaked at #16 on the charts becoming her only single thus far to miss the Top 10. As the song goes it's ok and I like the message behind it the vocals are just a bit too screechy in places for me but I'd say it deserves it's place here KsxSxF3JKeU

90. Ke$ha feat. 3oh!3 - Blah Blah Blah (171,600) Second entry from Ke$ha now, released in January 2010 "Blah Blah Blah" featured 3oh!3 and peaked at #11. I'm not gonna say much else vile, vile record 3taEuL4EHAg

Top 100 Best Selling Female Singles of the Decade So Far
Thanks for those I'll press on with the list I'm doing now but I'll be sure to add those figures. The thing about this is some songs trickle over certain margins without you realising/it being reported.

Top 100 Best Selling Female Singles of the Decade So Far
91. Inna - Sun Is Up (169,800) Romanian beauty Inna first came to our attention with her 2010 top ten single 'Hot' which is still to come in our chart. Sun Is Up was her fourth release in the UK and third top twenty hit peaking at #15 in the charts and is her second biggest selling song. It was a much bigger hit in mainland Europe hitting the Top 10 in most countries and number one in her homeland Romania. It's not a song that will remembered as a classic however it's a perfect piece of summer pop that seemed inescapable on my summer holiday to Spain last year and listening to it now takes me right back there. Top 100 Best Selling Female Singles of the Decade So Far
Just to say, as we are still in the decade the list for this is always changing. The list I am using is correct (well as correct as can be) to the chart date 14/07/2012 and I won't be changing it whilst I'm doing this as it will only confuse me. I will post the updated Top 100 every 6 months or so

92.Rihanna - Cheers (Drink to That) (169,000) Here she is again, the girl that can seemingly do no wrong this decade. Cheers was the final cut from her 'Loud' album but was kind of overshadowed by the promotion of 'We Found Love' so had to settle for #15 in the charts being her only single from that era to miss the Top 10. Personally, I cannot stand this song and I'm glad it under performed (by her standards) and is actually the only track on Loud I don't like. I hate the use of Avril Lavigne's "I'm With You" in the track as well ZR0v0i63PQ4

93. Nicki Minaj (feat. Rihanna) - Fly (168,600) So right after saying goodbye to Britney we welcome miss Nicki Minaj into our countdown with the first of three entries for her in the chart. Fly features Rihanna and managed a Top 20 position in the UK peaking at #16, it doesn't really leave much of an impression on me it's far from bad but also far from good at the same time and Rihanna, in my opinion, adds very little to the track 3n71KUiWn1I

94. Britney Spears - Hold It Against Me (164,200) Say goodbye because this will be the last we here from Britney in this countdown. Being a kid of the "Britney generation" I remember there being a slight buzz about amongst my friends and peers when Hold It Against Me premiered. I was neither wowed or dissapointed by the track but it was just another Britney one that will probably be forgotten before this year is out. The song gave Britney her 4th US No.1 and 21st UK Top Ten hit which is no small feat I'm sure you'll agree however with somewhat disappointing performances of her singles in the UK these past few years we have to wonder will 'Hold It Against Me' be her 21st and last Top 10 single. -Edv8Onsrgg

95. Rihanna - Russian Roulette (163,200) Seriously, will it surprise anyone when I say that Rihanna appears the most out of anyone in this countdown? Of course not as she has been almost undoubtedly the biggest artist of this decade so far and if not then she's deffinately been the most sucessfull female artist. Russian Roulette was the lead single from RiRi's fourth studio album Rated R and released in the dying weeks of the 00's so charted well into 2010 selling 163k in that year. Not my favourite tune from her but it was a pleasant surprise upon release, I really liked the darker and edgy side that came out in the Rated R record ZQ2nCGawrSY

Top 100 Best Selling Female Singles of the Decade So Far
96. Marina and the Diamonds - Primadonna (160,500)* The "official" lead single from Marina's second album Electra Heart now. The brilliant Radioactive was actually the first cut from the album but only made No.25 and spent a disappointing 3 weeks on the chart so is now down as being a taster single, I don't believe that for a second. Anyway, Primadonna has become Marina's most sucessfull release to date peaking at No.11 and spending a decent amount of time in the top forty. Not my favourite track on the new album but deffinately her best single to date though Power & Control is fast growing on me Oh and for future reference if a record has a * symbol by it that means it is still in the charts Gj5L9SYhoSE

Top 100 Best Selling Female Singles of the Decade So Far
I think I listen to Hollywood now for nostalgia purposes takes me right back to Year 13 at school. But you're right and I think Electra Heart is the better album and I am obsessed with Power & Control at the minute. Radioactive deserved to do A LOT better than it did I'm guessing Ke$ha is recording her second album, I hope she takes her time with it I can't stand her music

97. Ke$ha - Take It Off (155,500) The first of a few entries now for the second strangest recording artist to come out of America in recent years (Gaga wins this of course). Bursting onto the scene with Tik Tok in late 2009 Ke$ha gathered a further three top twenty entries throughout 2010, this being the lowest peaking coming in at #15. Though her next single would reach number one Ke$ha seems to have dissapeared off the face of the earth and I for one aren't all that bothered to be honest. The only thing she's done I'll listen to by choice is We R Who We R though I'm partial to Tik Tok when drunk though to be fair Take It Off isn't the worst thing she's put her name to edP0L6LQzZE

98. Marina & The Diamonds - Hollywood (151,100) I wasn't really sure whether to include Marina or not in this countdown so I researched and found out 'The Diamonds' are not her backing band as I had thought, they are her fans "I am Marina, you are the diamonds" is the statement I came across I believe. Anyway, Marina rose to fame after coming second to Ellie Goulding in the BBC Sound of 2009 poll and her debut album was released in early 2010. This was the first cut from the album and a personal favourite of mine at the time and I have to confess I have loved everything Marina has done and really want her to get some more commercial success as she well and truly deserves it. 'Hollywood' peaked at #12 and this years 'Primadonna' (still to come) managed #11, hopefully this is a pattern and her next lead single will go Top 10 n1VTcJfL7RE
