Take Care is bloody brilliant. Drake is such a hit and miss artist for me but Take Care is truly phenomenal and has such an interesting back story for how it came to be

Low was everywhere at the time. I even danced to it at a talent show. Won though :D

Songs that were MASSIVE...
Oh god, I remember Airplanes being everywhere around the time I was taking my final A-level exams. Got annoying as hell but I haven't heard it for a good 2 and a bit years now

Man I love What's It Gonna Be, reminds me a lot of Year 11 at school Better in Time is probably my favourite Leona song after Forgive Me

Some of Nickleback's stuff is good - with How You Remind Me being the obvious standout

I hate Rockstar. Probably in my least favourite songs of all-time chart. Chasing Pavements on the other hand is marvelous

JLS singles sales
Still think Take a Chance on Me was very underrated. Easily their best ballad and I actually don't hate Proud either

Gezza's Review Of Every No 2 Hit 2005-09
I hated Crank That at the time. I remember all the Year 8's at school properly loving it as well and doing the dance most breaktimes. Yuck Piece of Me is one of the few Britney songs I actively dislike and the only one post-breakdown I haven't liked (if you exclude Scream & Shout)

Avril Lavigne - Here's To Never Growing Up
Why is everything always held back for so long in the UK? Is there a specific reason we always have to wait for things longer than the rest of the world? Anyway, really hope this does well not her best but I always love me a bit of Avril

Margaret Thatcher has died
Well that's good (that your classmates formed their own opinions, not that your teacher wasnt neutral as she probably should have been) One of the most annoying things I've personally found about this whole thing is the amount of uninformed teenagers who don't know anything about Thatcher and the politics of the 80s but are celebrating her death because they've been taught to hate her or they're merely following the crowd.

Margaret Thatcher has died
I agree. We studied them as well and it helped me form my own less than positive opinion on Mrs Thatcher. Not to mention the personal connection my family has to the mining closures with my grandfather losing his job from it meaning my father's childhood was a very poor one with almost no money so yeah I didn't like her one bit But my issue with this whole (for want of a better word) celebration is the effect it must be having on her family. I just think that their feelings don't seem to have been taken into account; yes Thatcher was a cow and many people despised her but at the end of the day there is still a family grieving for a lost one and I don't think I'm totally in the wrong for daring to say that their feelings should be being better respected at this time Plus, I really dislike the song Ding Dong The Witch Is Dead Also Griff; if ALL your classmates shared the same opinion it seems to me that your teacher may have been fairly one sided in this. I know when we studied this many people in my class came out with arguments supporting Thatcher and this class was pretty divided over the issue.

Not a fan of Thatcher or her politics but this celebration of her death is disgusting. Personal feelings aside this is someone's mother/grandmother.

Justin, Pink, Nelly and Christina all in the Top 10 at the same time. The turn of the millennium newbies (now the 'old guard') are certainly having a great year what with 50 Cent, Britney, Girls Aloud, Alicia Keys and Robbie all having big hits in the last few months as well as Avril and Beyonce potentially doing well with new singles. It feels like 2003!

My Top 200 songs of 2000-2009
52. Evanescence // Bring Me to Life // July 2003 Peak: #2 Weeks on Chart: 25 Points: 763 Stuck behind "Crazy in Love" in the runner up spot for 3 weeks, Bring Me to Life is the highest rank song on this chart that didn't make it to the number one position on my personal charts. A band I discovered through my elder cousin, they really looked out of place in my music collection for sometime but I fell in love with the album Fallen and it was my #1 album of 2003 by some distance. 3YxaaGgTQYM

My Top 200 songs of 2000-2009
53. Britney Spears // Everytime // June 2004 Peak: #1 Weeks on Chart: 30 Points: 761 Britney and ballads have always been a mixed combination in my opinion. Some of them have been downright awful (From the Bottom of My Broken Heart :puke2:) but some, like Everytime, are rather beautiful. In 2004, I was very much still a massive Britney and pop fan but it was all beggining to change and though I liked Britney's new stuff when she came back post breakdown in 2008 I wasn't overly sold as my tastes had changed but I do like to come back and listen to her music from 99-05 as she was an important part of my childhood and developing musical taste. Everytime is a goodbye in away, a goodbye to Britney's commercial high and me being a kid still very much into pop music 8YzabSdk7ZA

My Top 200 songs of 2000-2009
54. Kylie Minogue // I Believe In You // December 2007 Peak: #1 Weeks on Chart: 28 Points: 757 One of Kylie's finest records ever (and probably the campest) next and one of the songs that really defines late 2004 for me. She still has two more tracks left to chart yet showing she, in my opinion, was one of the best female singers of the 00s HZp2bk4YHFY

Gezza's Review Of Every No 2 Hit 2005-09
Heartbroken was such a tune!!! I loved it for ages, then everyone else discovered it and then every bus journey was plagued with it to the point where now, almost 6 years on, I still can't stand to listen to it.

That double A-side was such a blatant attempt at turning Shayne into the UK's Justin Timberlake. His follow up Breathless was much better

I'm amazed Bridgit is not only still in the Top 10 but has climbed as well. Thought she'd bomb after the first week
