My Top 200 songs of 2000-2009
101. Daft Punk // One More Time // December 2000 Daft Punk!!! One hit wonders, well in my charts anyway, with this brilliant little number but much like the Uniting Nations track I can't really explain why I love this so much. I think at the time I quite liked the video which, I recall, was played a lot on some kids TV channels. I wanna go back to late 2000  FGBhQbmPwH8

102. Uniting Nations // Out of Touch // November 2004 I have never been able to explain why I love this song so much, it's just the same lyrics repeated over and over to a samey tune. Simply beyond me but I do know that I love it and it brings back some awesome late 2004 memories, I looked up to Wayne Rooney as a hero back then XgPkaJXlJE4

103. Gareth Gates // Anyone of Us // July 2002 I totally don't still listen to this when I'm alone......... OK maybe I do but it's a good, infectious pop song and if we've learnt anything by this point it's that I'm a sucker for these kind of songs. I'd voted for Gareth in Pop Idol I'll confess and was very dissapointed with his first single but this turned things around, briefly, but he never did another song I liked after this. A quid well bloody spent :teresa: Also, look at his hair! Could anyone look more 2002? iFa6I9KN63Q

104. Kate Nash // Foundations // June 2007 29 copies off number one this was one week. 29 COPIES . Rihanna had more than had her time by that point too, oh well at least this is a great song and it did manage a #1 on my chart anyway so it's not all doom and gloom ryH5cga0yUI

105. Rihanna // Disturbia // August 2008 So by late 2008 I'm a pretty big Rihanna loon, she captured my heart with SOS and has had it since. Disturbia's a great song and easily one the strongest from her 00s output and almost certainly her best video E1mU6h4Xdxc

106. Kelly Clarkson // Breakaway // July 2006 It's a shame Clarkson decided to release "Walk Away" the worst song from her sophomore collection as a single; if she'd released Gone, You Found Me or Hear Me then all the singles would've been amazing and eligible for this chart. Oh well, she still released the four best songs on it anyway and it is a fantastic album (my #1 of the decade in fact) so I can't complain too much. Gonna go before my Kelly loon breaks out, it's always on the verge of doing so wherever I go c-3vPxKdj6o

107. A1 // Same Old Brand New You // October 2000 A1 were pretty easy to write off as "just another boy-band"; the below par original songs and the terrible Take on Me cover show this however thanks to this gem and another one coming up soon A1 actually managed to create two of my favourite boy-band songs (though nothing will ever beet NSYNC "Tearing up My Heart" ). Well done boys, well bloody done zPKvxYrgBV4

108. Britney Spears // Circus // December 2008 Britney's back with, in my opinion, the best thing she's done post 2007 until Till the World Ends came around. As a whole Blackout is a better album than Circus, however the singles from Circus are a lot superior and this particular track is the best one on there lVhJ_A8XUgc

109. S Club 7 // Don't Stop Moving // May 2001 Not a song I so much love now, in fact I find it quite overrated, but it's just so synonymous with my childhood that I had to include it. S Club 7 had better for sure but in terms of nostalgia you're not gonna find another song in this countdown that makes me as nostalgic as this does z2q3FJTFgtk

110. Samantha Mumba // Gotta Tell You // July 2000 I loved Samantha Mumba for the brief time she graced us with her presence this tune of course being the best of the bunch. It's just a simple nice little pop song, nothing all that special but I won't complain as simple pop's one of my favourite genre's of music - and 1997-2003 is crammed to the brim with it! GItPs9bSdmw

365 Day Song Challenge
Day Two - A Song That Reminds You of Summer Owl City & Carly Rae Jepsen - Good Time Quite recent I know but this was the first song that popped into my head. Definitely helped soundtrack Summer 2012 for me along with Rudimental, Rita Ora, Nicki Minaj, Flo Rida & Maroon 5. H7HmzwI67ec

111. Cassie // Me & You // August 2006 Back to the summer of 2006 again I see. I can appreciate that having this infront of tracks like American Idiot, Beautiful Day and Wake Me Up might seem a little bad but I honestly do love this track a lot. At the time it was because I fancied Cassie and liked the music video for obvious reasons but I genuinally grew to love the song as well. Don't think this is all that popular now but I still give it a listen now and then 2qgKIaxiPLY

112. Green Day // American Idiot // September 2004 And here it is the song that made me into a Green Day loon. First heard on summer holiday on the Isle of Skye in August 2004 I fell in love with this track immediately, got the album and fell in love with that. Other songs have overtaken American Idiot in my affections but I'll always love it purely for the fact it introduced me to my third favourite band of all-time Ee_uujKuJMI

113. Riva feat. Dannii Minogue // Who Do You Love Now? // December 2001 As in real life, Dannii's start hasn't been as bright on my charts as Kylie's has but she's done quite well over the years with six top ten hits. The biggest of those was her 2001 hook up with Riva "Who Do You Love Now" is a TUNE 2Sw-ASUnPYA

114. U2 // Beautiful Day // October 2000 A song that has no doubt been played in pretty much every montage over the past 12 years (well, 13 years old now). I was raised on two artists growing up; Madonna and U2 my mother being a massive Madonna fan and my father being a U2 loon. Needless to say it was U2 I preferred and they're responsible for some of my favourite all-time song, this might quite not make it onto that count but it's the best they got in the 00's co6WMzDOh1o

115. Sara Bareilles // Love Song // May 2008 One of my favourite pop tunes of 2008 now by a woman who'll sadly be remembered here as a one hit wonder, a shame because I followed her career after this and she's really done some fantastic stuff like King of Anything, Gonna Get Over You and Winter Song which are all better than Love Song which is still pretty fantastic anyway. I'm happy with her being my little secret though By the way, did anyone always pair this and the programme Pushing Daisies which was on around the same time on ITV together? Because I did qi7Yh16dA0w

116. Hoobastank // The Reason // July 2004 Jeez, I'd forgotten how over dramatic this video was. Anyway, a very good song that lasted 16 weeks on my chart but whatever happened to this band? fV4DiAyExN0

365 Day Song Challenge
Day One - A Song That Reminds You of Your First Car Jason DeRulo - Ridin Solo Well, my first car is my current car which I purchased back in June 2010. It's been a good little car for the past 2 and half years and I can't imagine how I ever managed in life without one now. Ridin Solo was the song I used to blast out all the time back in summer 2010 particularly on my first voyage; a weekend trip to Aberscoch with my friends the week after sixth form ended. 8ESdn0MuJWQ

Wow huge thanks for that and I love how Kelly Rowlands " Lay It On Me" peaked at #69, how appropriate

365 Day Song Challenge
I don't even think I will. It's like a New Years Resolution: stick with it for two weeks, let it slide and then forget about it completely. Hopefully I won't though

365 Day Song Challenge
Honestly didn't know where to stick this but I guess it's personal kind of. Anyway, I've been toying with this for a while and have decided that with it being the New Year tomorrow I'm going to start the 365 Day Song Challenge (i.e. a whole year). It's a big challenge I know but I'm determined to do it so this time next year, December 31st 2013, it'll be all done Here's the link: http://letty23.tumblr.com/post/15125632836...-song-challenge Wish me good luck and of course join in if you want too
