  1. Day 19: A show with the best cast Parks and Recreation

Everyone is absolutely brilliant and brings so much life to their characters - they all really make the show. I could have easily gone with The Office US, Lost, Torchwood - shows where the cast is a really strong highlight!

  2. 148. Twenty-first-century Women - Twenty-first-century Woman (feat. Joanna Forbes L'Estrange, Gina Beck, Mary Carewe, Sarah Eyden, Alice Fearn, Hazel Fernandes, Emma Kershaw, Melanie Marshall, Lucy Potterton, Liz Swain, Rebecca Trehearn, Andrea Vicari & Rosie Frater-Taylor)

is this an updated cover of Willow Smith’s 21st Century Girl *.*

  3. tbh on second listen it’s really not as bad - maybe I was put off by the dancing in the video. Still disappointed though.

It's a bop but basically Sweet But Psycho meets Primadonna

I don't see how people can stan those two songs and say this is dreadful

It's like when people said "Down" is awful but stanned "Work From Home" but they're basically the same song...

Because it’s a watered down version! The taste is reminiscent but not something you like, would emd up drinking again

  4. Really disappointed with this, Pink may have been morphing into a MOR, Heart friendly route but her music still had an edge that made it different and exciting. This completely lacks that edge and could have been sang by anyone.
  5. Day 17: Favourite title sequence: Game of Thrones

just stunning - so clever that it helps you understand the georgraphy but also that you know where you’re going to be for the episodes which can get me hyped! such beautiful design as well and together with the theme tune - REALLY sets the scene and gets you excited

Day 18: Favourite theme tune: The French Prince of Bel Air

so basic but i’ve been obsessed since I was tiny

  6. It’s also harder to compare MJ to Saville, Weinstein, R Kelly etc because Michael is the only one where an actual full blown trial has taken place, with lots of evidence within the trial and the people coming out now being a part of that trial - and yet, he was found innocent. There’s also been an FBI investigation with publicly released documents.

Without glossing over the horrendous, horrific and absolutely sickening events surrounding Saville, some of the anger resulting the events is that he can never be tried and punished for his actions. Whereas here, the trial did happen - it was lengthy and well-publicised, so it wasn’t exactly a matter of going through the motions.

There’s no doubting that his relationships with boys was wrong and should not have happened and he definitely treaded the line very carefully between what is legal and what is not. However, in terms of illegal activity, I’m yet to be in a position where I can say those definitely took place. The fact he has already been tried for these offences plays a big part in that.

  7. As far as I am aware family members, friends amd other children who went round his house and have openly said they did not experience any abuse were not invited to participate, contribute or comment.

    That is completely irresponsible journalism.

  8. It’s going to feature the longest battle scene ever recorded for the Battle of Winterfell! The current record holder is The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers’

    40 mins

eek, the series is certainly going to be visually stunning if nothing else and probably the biggest TV event ever!

  9. I guess this is all part of the initial plan to keep their names out there for as long as possible. The intention has clearly always been to form a party but delaying making this official keeps up the publicity.
  10. Day 01. A show that should have never been cancelled: Flashforward

Day 02: A show you wish more people were watching: Episodes

Day 03: Your favourite new show: Maniac

Day 04. Your favourite show ever: Doctor Who

Day 05: A show you dislike: Most Haunted

Day 06: Favourite episode of a show: Black Mirror - White Bear

Day 07: Least favourite episode of a show you love: Homeland - Long Time Coming (4x12)

Day 08: Your favourite twist: The Missing Series 2

Day 09: Your favourite TV moment/scene: The Office US - Wedding Dance

Day 10: A show you didn’t think you would like but ended up loving: Game of Thrones

Day 11: A show that disappointed you: The Walking Dead

Day 12: An episode you’ve watch multiple times: The IT Crowd - The Final Countdown (4x02)

Day 13: Your favourite children's show: The Fairly Odd Parents

Day 14: Your favourite male character: Suits - Louis Litt

Day 15: Your favourite female character: Torchwood - Toshiko Sato

She's so loyal and committed to not only her work but importantly her colleagues yet she can never catch a break. Her whole arc is horribly tragic, from the events that led to her working for Torchwood, to starting relationships with people only for something to go wrong (whether that's supplying her with horrible alien tech, sacrificing themselves to heal the rift or just being shot). She's so resilient, incredibly smart and deserved so much more <3

Day 16: A show that is a guilty pleasure: Coach Trip

Cheating because it is technically reality but I've essentially watched this religiously for way too many years (aside from one recent series!!) despite it having the most basic of formats of random activity, break, random activity, vote. I should hate it but I'm obsessed.

Day 13: Your favourite children's show: The Fairly Odd Parents

Day 14: Your favourite male character: Suits - Louis Litt

Tbh I really don’t know who my favourite male character is, I’m been racking my brain really hard but I’ve put down someone who i initially loved to hate but he really comes more fleshed as the series goes on. He is there for a lot of the comedy but we really get an insight into his vulnerabilities and how this feeds into and causes all of his behaviours. Moments like where he is genuinely hurt by other people’s behaviours despite all his bravado and the behaviour he shows towards others is really special and also seeing his never ending loyalty to the firm <3

  12. I’ve seen the first three episodes and loving it so much, the characters already feel so familiar and are brilliantly played.

I’ve also never found anti-abortion protesters so funny - weirdly my highlight so far!

  13. For me, there’s also the danger that it’s now turned fanfiction. Obviously it’s not intentional but that feeling can’t be helped when there is no longer the source material and, even though I think George has told them the ending, they’re still deviating towards their own version of the ending. Also, when the basis of the show has been focused on individual character journeys and now, to get to the endgame, you have them all meeting up with each other for the first time at all/since the first season, it can’t be helped but my first thought was always fan fiction even though that’s where the narrative has to lead to!

It’s a really hard one but at least they have spent a bit more time on these final two seasons even if it was in part to cost and the sope of the cinematic scenes. George should have just got on with writing the actual main books rather than having his fingers in every toher pie going!
