I think, as long as it’s done properly and spin-offs etc have a clear purpose, the Marvel approach is absolutely the right way to go but I also dislike that it’s seen as though it’s trying to emulate that when that’s what that first RTD era was doing anyway. It wasn’t the first TV show to have spin-offs but you had the crossover of characters and the shows essentially combined in The Stolen Earth/Journey’s End. Avengers WHO? I’d very be surprised if Hugh is the proper 14th Doctor (which at this stage I’m not even sure if we’re getting :lol:) but maybe some sort of pre-Hartnell Doctor with a spin-off or like an episode in a What If? series. I mean he has already played an alternate Doctor in The Curse of the Fatal Death :lol:

Again, this week showing that messy players make a far more entertaining season <3 I would have loved to have seen Betty get the HOH though, from coming last in every comp to having all the power. I’m so confused about Kevin too, part of me thinks he is the person he keeps saying is an act. That whole conversation with Betty was so odd. ‘Keep acting like you hate me’ ‘I do hate you’

01. A-Yo 02. Million Reasons -Album Release- 03. John Wayne I’m not saying A-Yo would have done much better as a lead single but it feels more radio friendly and a better introduction for the theme of the era. It might have made people appreciate more what she was doing rather than the very in your face Perfect Illusion. A proper push for Million Reasons would be better to sell the album and then John Wayne is a bit more classic Gaga.

Burning Bridges still remains my favourite so far (if Head on Fire doesn’t count!) as it’s an absolute monster of a pop song. It’s nice to have something a bit ‘tamer’ with ‘It Gets Dark’ though, a nice slight change in style. Really looking forward to the album!

Children of the Universe is still my favourite UK entry, although the performance did sadly fall a bit flat on the night with one of the worst stagings we’ve ever had. One of the very few times I’ve thrown all my weight behind our entry :lol:

Space Man has definitely had more money behind it than most of the recent entries which makes a huge difference. However, I feel like I’ve heard a copy of this song every year (I can literally picture it in the song recaps) and I swear it always lingers around the bottom of the leaderboard as again it’s a bit bland and gets forgotten about. I just wish they’d be more experimental (and not in an Electro Velvet way…!) as that’s what stands out more. Blending into the background is the worst thing to do when there’s 25 other songs! Even Never Give Up on You was slightly more unusual with its structure and that kind of paid of in at least getting us into the teens.

Finally caught up with this, mostly after it had finished so I’d no idea what was going on outside of what was shown on the episodes. Based on the episodes themselves, it was a really good season and further shows how much better the Celeb version is to the normal US version. Doing it in double time definitely helps but I also think not having knowledge of the game actually makes it more entertaining because they’re more messy. The celeb seasons and BBCan9 show that messy players can be far more entertaining than some of the superfans who are often more careful with their moves. Messy > loyalty. I think the only part that the Celeb version falls down on is when you get 2-3 that really cba and only came for the paycheck :lol: Definitely a deserved winner but oops at all the Todrick fallout. With all the double episodes, I don’t get why the finale was a single episode? It would have been good to have more from the jurors and more light on what had happened after they left/explanation from Todrick.

Nooo it’s changed on Apple Music :cry: although at least it’s in brackets…
