Don’t really understand the decision given it grew with every series, and Series 3 was the highest yet with solid overnight and 7 day ratings. Nothing spectacular I appreciate but certainly solid enough, particularly amongst the younger audience. Surprised they’ve not even put it on E4 given the channel seemed to be desperate a couple of years ago to find their Love Island equivalent hit. At least we have the US version (and now I’m glad I’ve decided to delay my watching of that!).

Game of Thrones is an obvious one from recent times but I strongly feel the outcome isn’t what makes it bad, it’s the fact it was so so so rushed, especially in comparison with the pacing of the previous seasons. It was an uphill battle anyway as there was no way everyone would be satisfied with the ending of something so huge but rushing it didn’t help.

I’m literally just waiting on the announcement of Series 7 because I’m pretty underwhelmed if that is the final ever episode! I’m expecting it to happen but I’m slightly doubting it because I thought they were going to announce it straight after... I feel there’s still so many questions and it’s not even as though we got proper closure on the trio. I just can’t envisage Buckells being the last one there behind it all, who everyone was scared of 😂 He didn’t even give off H vibes in the interview. He acted as if the OCG(s) were getting weaker as people were found out/left but they’ve seemed just as strong over the past two series, if not stronger! There’s definately more to it!!

I think it would be jumping the shark if it was any of the main three. Kate was the one who was questioning Cotton on his deathbed to get answers.

I feel like a LOT has happened but I also feel we’re not moving as far forward with the overall OCG plot as I was expecting. Instead, more and more elements just get added, widening it up rather than taking it forward. I think because there’s no chance everythings getting wrapped up next week (and I really wouldn’t want it to!!), my worry is that we have another finale where another person gets exposed as being bent but then we find out there’s another high ranking bent copper that they need to uncover. I absolutely love the show and it continues to be incredibly gripping but I’m starting to feel that, in terms of developments/answers, we take one step forward and two steps back :lol:

I really loved this album, Tokyo, Techno Fan and 1996 are definitely the biggest highlights. I never really listened to the stiff that followed this album though. The extended edition has been on iTunes for years now! Didn’t realise it wasn’t on streaming services.

I think this season shows that messy players are far more entertaining than ‘good’ players. It’s the season we’ve been needing for years. Such a relief to see shots actually being taken and targets changing. Shocked they got out Tera over Beth, could be a move that backfires if Jedson returns. How I’d have loved to see Jedson v Beth battling it out!! Also, I think I’ve missed something re Rohan’s huge popularity! Not that I dislike him but he’d probably be in the lower half of my rankings!

Absolutely loving the album, perhaps more because it’s a more poppy sound. Definitely a lot more drawn to it than the second album. I think Lose Your Head is my favourite of the singles but I’ve loved them all. Missing, Lord It’s a Feeling and America are my current highlights from the album tracks. The melody for Lord It’s a Feeling really is the same melody as Give In To Me though, I’m shocked it’s not been credited as a sample as a precaution

On first listen, it was VERY full on, especially after Man’s World and Love + Fear! :lol: I’ve had a few more listens now and think I’ve adjusted to hearing Marina on speed and enjoying it. I need to find out the full lyrics as I feel I’ve not yet caught it all. I was thinking it felt quite The Family Jewels too!
