I’d personally always watch things in release order, at least the first time round anyway, as then you at least know you’re not expected to know certain information before going into things! This series looks to have been an enormous hit! Last week’s episode was a great opportunity to finally get a proper origin story and put Wanda’s story into perspective. Excited for the finale, feel there’s going to be lots more surprises to come still, I need to stay off the internet on Friday!
  2. yes! it always seems to get overlooked so really happy to see it as high as 4th!
  3. ROUND 3: Free album track choice HOW BIG, HOW BLUE, HOW BEAUTIFUL maybe I'll see you in another life, if this one wasn't enough We now move to the third era, with the title track of How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful. The song was first teased with Chapter 2 of The Odyssey, although it largely focused on the instrumental. The song starts off gently but builds to an explosive second third before taking it back down for a beautiful instrumental for the final moments. It's a huge song full of energy and wonder. d-hMSJp2NwQ
  4. Haha same! I adore Aaliyah, a perfect collaboration and it’ll be great to see Midnight Caller get some recognition!
  5. I'm scared to comment after that bizarre underperformance of Champagne Kisses but some of my picks from the first two albums are Devotion, Strangest Feeling, Want Your Feeling and Midnight Caller.
  6. ROUND 2 RESULTS: 03 29 Florence + the Machine - Shake It Out Another incredible result for Florence! I’m just really stuck with this next round... I think it’s between Only If For a Night and How Big How Blue How Beautiful, with Hurricane Drunk also a contender. My heart is telling me HBHBHB but them I’m thinking about if I should save it for uptempo but I also want to give one of the bonus tracks a chance. This is hard!! I love it too
  7. Jessie deserved waaaaaay better! :( Amazed at third place though, scared of the next round and whether she can keep it up...
  8. omg!! It was my favourite of this round, such a big song!
  9. Katy B - 5 AM Jessie Ware - Champagne Kisses Florence + the Machine - Shake It Out The Beatles - Come Together No Doubt - It's My Life Everything Everything - Violent Sun Gabrielle - Out of Reach Donna Summer - Hot Stuff Nina Nesbitt - Love Letter Ciara - Dance Like We're Making Love Ava Max - My Head & My Heart Kesha - Praying Miley Cyrus - Malibu Demi Lovato - Heart Attack A lot harder than I expected, the last two votes were very much open to debate!
  10. Don’t you be coming in here to slander the How Big How Blue How Beautiful era!!! You won’t need to bother with High as Hope for the purposes of this because I don’t think anything on there has a chance of success in this game :kink: You must become more familiar with HBHBHB though, I’ve always loved it but I’ve been listening to it so much such this whole thing commenced. I absolutely adore it
  11. HELP! The next round is album track which I'm most stuck on so it's very open for suggestions! This is also the only chance for any slower album tracks as they won't have a chance of being entered into any other rounds. My initial thoughts are but please please offer more suggestions!: Hurricane Drunk Only If for a Night Heartlines How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful Hiding Make Up Your Mind Which Witch (Demo) I'm thinking one of the HBHBHB ones for the uptempo one? There's one I've not mentioned which I'm saving for Should've Been a Single. :o
  12. ROUND 2: First OR last single from an era SHAKE IT OUT regrets collect like old friends, here to relive your darkest moments We move on to the Ceremonials era and with the song that properly launched it! Shake it Out initially had a slower start than expected in the charts but was propelled to match the peak of Rabbit Heart after a performance on The X Factor UK. It is a HUGE song and again, very representative of the Ceremonials era with the striking use of organs. It starts off very gentle and builds up into a moment of a chorus that's full of energy where Florence lets it all out. So let go of everything and shake it all out to ensure the choice isn't a regret! WbN0nX61rIs
  13. My favourite Beatles song I think!
  14. As a wise woman once said: let the haters hate, you’re like way too late.
  15. I like the strings but it doesn’t WOW me. I’ll easily take it over stuff like Talk About Love though
  16. I think you’ll find it STOLE from Alice Chater
  17. Aaliyah to easily be sent for either Katy or Jessie. My highlights are Power on Me, Next Thing, I Like You, Everything and Emotions. My pick for Honey is probably Dreamers. I love Play too but it's probably not the best pick for this.
  18. Thanks for the feedback so far! I do feel Shake It Out might have the most general appeal but, and it might be me being a blind stan, I feel there’s enough big hitters left to fill the remaining the singles round. Well make sure your second is voting for Florence in Round 2 x
  19. I’ve not heard the first one but I really like Give Your Heart a Break! EDIT: actually it doesn’t sound as good as I remember
  20. 5 AM definitely has to be sent at some point!! I do very much echo the love for Witches Brew and I Wanna Be though, I’m not show how universally that will be reflected though.
  21. I’m not being very helpful but definitely one of Imagine it Was Us, Champagne Kisses, Your Domino or Adore You (if that’s the one that counts as starting WYP!) for me. Love them all so much!
  22. I was torn between What Kind of Man and Shake It Out as WKOM is one I’m not sure will get a chance later on!
