I think It’s a Sin might be seen as an underperformance on the overnights but a large part of the audience is probably more likely to watch on All4

I think it needs to be considered in the context of the TV show, definitely not a release in its own right.

This is absolutely incredible!! I’ve seen the first three episodes so far and it definitely gets better with each one. I get that the non-linear storyline has contributed to the show not being a BIG hit that it deserves to me but I think that’s one of the main reasons I’m enjoying it so much. I do love stories that show scenes that only tell part of a story and as you get further into it, it revisits stuff to extend scenes or show them from a different perspective. I adore the visuals as well, the way they’ve made the filter for parts look like it’s airing in the 70s is so beautiful. There’s been so much effort put into making this, it’s really paid off. The third episode got so tense though, dreading where it’s going next. Although I do have to remind myself it’s based on real events. It’s easy to get lost into a drama but it’s definitely important to remember the real life tragedies.

Album has randomly been brought forward a month to 29 January! I enjoy Love is Back but more as an album track, I’m hoping there’s another single to lead the album? On another note though, Hear My Voice has really clicked recently. Not sure why as I’d even seen The Trial of the Chicago 7 last year so it’s not because of that but something just clicked. Really excited for the full album. Also why is the vinyl only an alternate track listing and not the full album? This release strategy seems a mess...

I think she’s desperate to tour the album (one of the reasons she made the album) so a re-release makes sense as her April tour is likely to be postponed again. A re-release therefore will give it a refresh in time for when the tour can actually happen. It might be worth pushing The Kill or Remember Where You Are in the meantime but nothing is really going to have an impact at this stage.
