It missed the genuine personalities of the UK version and I think it should have been a cast full of reality contestants if that’s what they were wanting, given they hardly focused on the ‘newbies.’ Still enjoyed it and got addicted though, I’m just now waiting for the BBC to buy the Australian version  One thing that has annoyed me is that
  3. omg my first Song Contest win :cheeseblock: It does feel like slightly cheating as it isn’t exactly unknown (and my first pick was Head on Fire) but I’m taking it given it was Best Pop of last year!! Well done to all, some of my favourite songs of last year and some great new discoveries as well. Can I Come Home really snuck up on me!
  4. Going by the votes, I’d be shocked if it wasn’t Rina!
  5. I can’t believe I Lay Down failed to even qualify. It’s my favourite :(

Love this! Her first album was a real nice surprise for me, after loving Castles, so I’m excited for this and sounds like it will be just as good going by Weekends.

Absolutely not shocked it only took two years for an all male Artist of the Year.
  8. I’m expecting a brand new single around Eurovision time but it would be good to have Put a Light on Me as a single in the meantime.

Have you tried turning it off and on again?
  10. I love these films, and I feel I could watch endless sequels. They’re so much fun, traditional murder mysteries but brought well up to date with fun little quirks and twists on the genre. I love the levels of detail that is put into them, making them so much more special. I remember being slightly disappointed with the first one when . The first is my favourite of the two as I felt this took a bit too long to get to the actual mystery for me (which I appreciate is the point) but I loved everything else about it. The highlight was the Among Us scene (with Quiplash reference)!!

  13. Absolutely thrilled for her! What a comeback from what surely felt like rock bottom, it must mean so much to her to finally get that recognition in her own right with music she wants to make.

@1607323805696901120 The King beat last year’s The Queen but other than that nothing spectacular, as very much expected. Mrs Browns Boys has definitely had a fall from grace though given it used to lead the overnights!
  16. Especially when it’s only, being generous, getting <50 actual sales a week

the PERFECT ending to this series. To see Wilf cause the banishment of a third traitor only for it to backfire and cause a complete meltdown that sealed his fate is just pure art! I know there can be debate as to whether Kieran ruined it but I think Wilf could have easily handled it to shut down speculation but his reaction just caused more speculation. Wilf also kinda did the same thing when he led on going for each of the other traitors. What a show! It’s been a long time since I felt so tense in a TV show. The challenges do need some work as essentially they’re only filler at the moment. The only good ones were the ones that asked questions about the contestants. I’ll look past that though as the rest of it is pure edge of the seat stuff. So hyped for the next series and all the possibilities that can come out of it. I can definitely see the traitors being a lot less trusting of each other, having seen this series. I think allies will also be less trusting, given Hannah’s Wilf blindness throughout. There does need to be some reaction of the murdered/banished players learning who the traitors are though.
  18. Ohhhh I see! That’s a shame but intrigued to hear the original version instead then.
  19. Shook that this is actually happening after all this time. Hyped to have Lay Down on streaming although the change in title suggests they may not have got the sample cleared?

Again, I know it’s so easy to say when you know the traitors, but it’s so frustrating to see Hannah and Meryl just vote based on their friends rather than using logic. Maddy essentially got voted out because she went for a friend. Take a look at why you’ve been kept in and Wilf’s closest allies and biggest enemy remain in the game!! I was ready for Wilf v Kieran so very disappointing to end on that result  I think the final is a great format, although you surely have to have a final two to be safe. I do think it was a misstep to get another traitor on board at a such a late stage. It does remove a lot of the tension as its 3 v 2 and also, how are you supposed to guess Kieran when he’s been a traitor for 5 minutes!

Yes, it might just be focused on that one night but at least Maddy is trying to look at what’s happened throughout the game. Of course we only see what’s in the edit but it feels like the rest are just looking at it day to day and vote off who was the most dodgy that day rather than looking back on how they’ve acted at integral moments. It is easy once you know the traitors but they need to focus on the reactions as to when Amanda and Alyssa were voted out. As others have said, they need to notice Wilf couldn’t look either of them in the eye and was particularly very emotional about Amanda despite not really having a relationship with her in the main game.
  22. oh at least its a unique final position
