Kieran winning would be such a downer on such a fantastic series but I guess a damp squib of a winner is the true mark of a great reality TV show.

I fear this twist is the first misstep. Who would choose to get murdered (and therefore definitely lose the money) over being a traitor (and getting the chance to win the money)? Definitely need the faithfuls to win now!!

Love the orange! It works really well for him. I think it gets harder and harder with each Doctor to find their outfit because it needs to be distinct without going too wacky and over the top. I think they really nailed it with Jodie though, the outfit has become one of those symbols in its own right.

Officially got the #1 but he could have easily had the Xmas #1 if he had released today rather than last Friday.

I think I’d kill off Alex as a warning sign and then seek to recruit one of the newbies. From a logical point of view, it would have been bit silly for the producers to make one of the newbies a traitor when none had actually gone yet so they’re probably the most obvious faithfuls in there. I think they can do it with just the two of them, as the betrayal has made them a lot safer, but having an extra traitor is better protection and they can always turn on the extra one if need be anyway. It just takes on misstep and a traitor will be out there fighting alone!

omg they got the guy that had to drop out of BB24 and was replaced by Joseph because he was already on America’s Got Talent. How many reality TV shows has he applied/been scouted for? 😭 I’m sure this was filmed last year as well.

Yeh, I don’t think Christmas TV is a really a thing anymore outside of putting some Christmas trees around the set of entertainment shows they show all year round, and adding some snow to the graphics. It’s a vicious cycle as less people are watching so they put less effort into it which means less people watch etc January is definitely where it’s at!

I’ll happily take an annual 8 episode series + Christmas special! It works out more than what we had under the Chibnall era. Plus that’s not including the 3 anniversary specials and festive special for 2023. I think having it back without gap years is one of the most important parts. These days it’s important (although there are exceptions) to keep a show in the public consciousness and it’s felt very stop/start with all the gaps in recent years. I think it’s even more important when relaunching a show as you need to keep up momentum. I appreciate the budgetary and production reasons for the gaps but hopefully with the bigger support it is now more manageable. I know there’s hints of spin-offs but they’d just be a bonus for me, I want them to get the main show back on track and fresh in pop culture/the public consciousness.

Yeah, John’s the only one I dislike from an otherwise good set of contestants. Alyssa and Amanda are perfect picks for the Traitors, I think Wilf will be voted out fairly soon.
