It was OK but it felt like it was a performance for the cameras rather than the crowd. The songs are catchy but she just lacks charisma in my opinion and performs in the same way for each song. She is trying too hard to dance and at it feels forced and unnatural at times. I would like to see her engage with the audience more by covering the whole stage.

Yes but Kylie has the perfect pop voice. She makes songs into killer tracks. Pair this up with the videos/image and she strikes gold. So many iconic looks/videos and an amazing back catalogue. My niece is in her teens and even she knows more than 10 Kylie tracks. Madonna is the same, we know the songs, looks and videos. Dua needs more striking imagery and videos to stand out. I can’t name one iconic look of hers. She simply does not have the mystique and fanbase to keep people interested. Dare I say it but she needs to do something RADICAL.

Kylie is enigmatic. Her warmth and charisma is off the scale. Even in the 80s the press were fascinated by her - the image, relationships, singles/album/tours. Sorry but Dua is not even remotely in the same league.

Taylor will do 35-40k this week in total. Will Dua sell around 30k physicals? She will need to to be #1.

I like some of her songs actually and she seems like a nice person. You can’t disguise the streaming for the album is poor. She has blanket Spotify support and 2 of the most streamed albums ever. All 11 tracks should be Top 50 on day 1 especially in the UK. Something is not clicking that is all I am saying. Plenty of others posting the same comments on other chart forums too!

It is a bit negative but the streams speak for themselves. The way she performs is the same too in terms of the way she moves and dances. Just doesn’t feel natural. The pop landscape is fickle and you have to be extra special to survive a la Kylie and Madonna.

Bad for Dua. She does not have a real solid fanbase. She has great label support from the start hence radio and streaming have backed her. This is the start of the end unfortunately of being hugely successful. Most people I know think her songs all sound the same now and that she lacks charisma to a certain extent. The album will sell poorly after week 1.

She is so boring and her performance style is samey. Lots of people find her so mediocre. All her songs are similar and the delivery is the same and people keep posting about this ok TikTok.

No issue with Dua she will struggle unless she can create her own identity. Without Spotify and radio support she has a small fanbase. She is no Britney, Madonna, Kylie, Beyonce, Rihanna or Gaga. She has not immersed herself with the general public due to there being nothing really special about her.

She has no originality as a performer. She is just very average. The average person won’t/can’t remember any of her videos, looks or performances. Yes her last album was successful but again mainly due to Spotify playlisting. Yes some of the songs were great too. What I mean is she is a bit like Katy Perry - big hits but a limited fanbase. As for the arena tour it was not very big in the UK or as extensive given the album/singles being big hits.

Did I hit a nerve. She is so boring. No charisma. Faceless songs. Just like Katy Perry. This new song sounds just like the others. I watched her tour on Youtube and she just does not have any originality. She seems like a nice person though. This album will struggle and early reviews of her performance the new film are not favourable either.

Dua Lipa is so bland. She lacks star quality. Her voice/songs all sound the same. Her performance style is very samey too. She is a product of Payola.
