Mollie King - 'Back to You'
Someone from Popjustice that isn't an insider per say, but knows more than he seems to let on, has implied 'April' would be a good month to hear the first single (radio premiere?). Exciting anyway! :cheer:

Sats Split Inc - General Discussion Pt. 6
The best thing about 'Somebody Else's Life' still is this live performance in which The Saturdays have PROPERLY harmonized for once and it truly equals the harmonies of their pairs. 2:03 (Also, little favorite bit of mine ; 2:54 with Vanessa's falsetto and Frankie's headvoice

I do think the trinity of the good singers sound amazing on it, to be honest. Mollie does as well, but it's not exactly a standout. Frankie is a bit shit on it, though,

Sats Split Inc - General Discussion Pt. 6
I think it's the same vocals but un-tuned, directly from the record boot? It seems to be missing Frankie's high harmonies as well, although it might just be the poor quality I don't know. This snippet made Somebody Else's Life sounds better, but I think it's only because of how short it is. I used to think it would be good as well based on the preview. I mean, it's not a bad song, it's just meh.

Vanessa released an EP and we had confirmation of solo Mollie. What do you mean, they ain't doing shit? Not to forget our general discussions such as the JSG charts, the Split Inc thread, etc. Am I the only one not that surprised?- AF Chart Run.

I fail to see the connection here, and this come as even more obnoxious (which is nothing new from you, granted) considering you would have celebrated it had they been dropped.- Mollie King - 'Back to You'
Well, actually Missing You got released in August, but somehow promo slots were many back then? Oh well, maybe August isn't a dead zone, but June is, I don't know, lmao. Either way, I'm hoping the label don't mess it up. I just want the album so bad, lmao.- The Saturdays Forum Music Chart 2016 | #13 | 18/02/16
Don't hold back... It's nice to see somebody make an effort.- Rochelle Humes ☆ General Discussion
Pretty much yes. It's also safer. Unless she makes a gigantic mistake while presenting, she will probably always keep on getting jobs. Whereas she could do no wrong while being a popstar, but if some radio executive just doesn't like her face or the song, thus do not playlist it, well it can quickly be over for her. Mollie's giving it a go because despite of short-comings in terms of voice, she's always been extremely music-driven (didn't she have the best grades out of all of them, and also a potentially great future in skying, but she just let all of that down because what she always wanted to do was be a popstar? Plus the fact she knows how to play guitar and has been shown to be competent in songwriting). But you know the second she fails/flops, she will be back to fashion/modelling things.- Mollie King - TBA
If the rumors are true, then she snatched a Max Martin first single which could definitely work in her favor... We'll see if that was true or just bullshit.- Sats Split Inc - General Discussion Pt. 6
That's old news, they were always still signed to Polydor which is why people kept saying that they didn't split officially. But it's always better coming from their mouth! ^_^ ;)- Rochelle Humes ☆ General Discussion
Which I found weird because she wanted to be a popstar as child, it failed, and then she had the chance to become a TV presenter (and she did, for children, but still.) but she clearly wanted to pursue a solo career all these years ago again otherwise she wouldn't have been in The Saturdays. I think she just got a bit disgusted by the industry, how it works, the record deals and the pressure from the label. I reckon it's much easier to be a TV presenter.- Mollie King - 'Back to You'
Risque, though. Later this year could mean Summer...which is a dead zone for singles unless you're a big artist guaranteed to gather airplay. There are no promo slots avalaible! I'm hoping either May or September.- Una Healy - The Waiting Game
I don't know. The title kinda gives me 'ballad' vibes, but the fact it's written by her and someone who also co-wrote on 'GRGS' makes it all so intriguing.- Mollie King - TBA
Keep in mind, she has a single-deal for now so if it flops, we'll never hear the album! :(- Una Healy - The Waiting Game
She has a song called "Happy" registered on the ASCAP website. It's co-written by someone that was part of the team behind 'Get Ready, Get Set'. I don't know what to think.- Mollie King - TBA
She has recorded a song called "Now" co-written by her and Chelcee Grimes, produced by Taylor Parx. Here's a lit of potential writers and producers for her album. - Carl Ryden & Carla Marie ("Not Giving Up" by The Saturdays) - Taylor Parx ("My Everything" by Ariana Grande; "All In A Day's Work" & "Bye Baby" by Danity Kane ; "BO$$" by Fifth Harmony ; "So Good" by Jennifer Lopez ; "Best Thing I Never Had" by Beyoncé, "Radar" & "Freakshow" by Britney Spears) - Autumn Rowe ("30 Days" by The Saturdays ; "Red Planet" by Little Mix) - Chelcee Grimes ("Walking Through the Desert" by The Saturdays ; "Million Miles" by Kylie Minogue). - Nicola Roberts (Girls Aloud, Cheryl, Little Mix, Joel Compass, etc.) - James Newman ("Waiting All Night" by Rudimental ft. Ella Eyre ; "Lay It On Me" by Rudimental ft. Ed Sheeran) - Christian Karlsson ('Piece Of Me' & 'Toxic' by Britney Spears, 'Sweet Dreams My LA Ex' by Rachel Stevens, 'Sparks' by Hilary Duff, and 'Bang My Head' by David Guetta & Sia) - Arnthor Birgisson ('Higher' by The Saturdays) - Ina Wroldsen (basically 75% of The Saturdays discography) - And lastly… supposedly, Max Martin. And just a whole lot of other Sweden producers.- Vanessa White - Chapter One
I did a bit of digging on songwriting databases and I found some stuff. 'Nostalgia' was in fact the Eriksen track she talked about a few months back. Shame, I was expecting a pop number from Eriksen. The other new song titles are : "Be Your Fantasy", "Forget to Breath", "Heart On The Line" are from her sessions with Tre Jean Marie. Then, you have "Love Me" and also "Oh Boy" (a Chelcee Grimes track). EDIT: Also "Body 2 Body", "Out My System" and "When You're Mine".- Vanessa White - Chapter One
I'm quite shocked to be honest about that part! On a good day, I definitely rate Sarah above Nicola, and obviously she's a much better singer than Cheryl and Kimberley. So to be the one singled out from Girls Aloud was a bit weird... Although I won't spit on the Saturdays praise. "You can all sing", meaning they meant Mollie and Frankie too, yay.- Rochelle Humes ☆ General Discussion
I somtimes feel like some people expect her to do something r&b purely based on the fact that she's black. I, for one, would definitely not see her step away from The Saturdays sound. 'Living for the Weekend' is literally what solo Rochelle would sound to me ; 'What About Us', 'Leave A Light On', 'You Don't Have The Right', 'Lease My Love', stuff like '808' too especially. That isn't a bad thing, though.- Rochelle Humes ☆ General Discussion
I was listening to some Saturdays songs and I'm so thirsty for some Rochelle solo music. Her tone is the brightest and dare I say it ligthest of all of them. Seeing her venturing even further into Presenting and modelling just makes it obvious she probably never will release music. :( - AF Chart Run.
