  1. In practice, it has different steps and figures (Natural turns, reverse fleckerls, cross-body lead, etc VS The double reverse spins, reverse turns, whisks, etc) but at the end of the day it's very similar still, so Mollie should do fine and learn that one pretty fast, unlike the other contestants who have harder dances to learn (but they are also more entertaining than the Waltz, so Mollie might still be loosing here, as it's not like the Waltz would be buying her votes) Some people are not ruling the possiblity of an Argentine Tango. It could only work if she has nice balance - which has been tested in the past. I would say that the Argentine Tango is a better "votes-catcher" but then Davood found himself in the bottom two this week with the said dance.
  2. http://www.mirror.co.uk/tv/tv-news/strictl...nt-see-11629985 This is kinda cute.
  3. Okay, but GUYS, this means
  4. The bottom 2 above has been confirmed.
  5. Damn omg... Apparently with : ???
  6. First person announced to be in bottom 2 is ... .
  7. I agree. I doubt Mollie can be saved from a bottom 2 another week. This is usually the time where the public starts to eliminate the weaker dancers left, so I think Mollie, Gemma and Davood are all in danger, Mollie more so as we know her public support have been "middling" when she found herself, well, in the middle of the leaderboard - like she did tonight as well.
  8. Susan said on "ITT" when asked who she would like to win that "she made very good friends with Mollie King, she's amazing" but she also said that everyone in there deserved to win, so who knows...
  9. No that wasn't the illegal lift, as her toes did touch the ground there. It's when she BASICALLY jumps in his arms. You can't do more illegal than that.  Honestly I am SHOOK that they got away with it. It's like 100% an illegal lift. On the other hand, I'm also 100% sure that if they did what Craig said they should have done (basically not do something "spectacular/over-show-ish", and just get in his arms so he can get her on the floor)...well they would have criticised that bit anyway for looking clunky and breaking the mood of the dance. Truth be told, she shouldn't have been above the dancefloor to begin with, but oh well, what can you do....
  10. Yeah sadly, no matter what, she's not "safe" at all. Gemma and Davood fans will do everything to save their favorite, so one of them won't fall into the bottom 2. In my opinion, we can still expect a bottom 2 with Mollie, but the good thing is that she has decent marks, so she can be saved against Gemma or Davood. Just hope people vote for Alexandra, Debbie and Joe so none of them fall into the bottom 2.
  11. Mollie above Davood and Gemma as she should be.
  12. I was SO scared for her. She had an illegal lift and she managed to got 31?! KWEEN
  13. Ddddd I swear these comments are written even before they see the dance lmao, here's what I can predict : So score from 25 to 29 really. If there are no ties, or just one, then she's going this week, 100%. It's not even being pessimistic, it's just what happens at this point of the competition with Strictly, every year. If there are two ties, though, being in the bottom will give her sympathy/pity votes, plus it will push her fans to vote even more, and we could be looking at a shock bottom 2.
  14. I haven't watched like the last five episodes lmao. I forgot what a drag these shows kinda are with an hour-long episodes every damn day.
  15. To be fair, although it doesn't work that away, so it's still bullshit from Vanessa, Wordshaker + Headlines does equal to a platinum certification. More depressingly, a combination from On Your Radar + Living for the Weekend probably still doesn't equal to a GOLD certification.
  16. Yeah, like I said, choose your poison. She was always going to be f***ed this week. Samba would have been just a disastrous as the Rumba.
  17. She has the Rumba!
  18. She builds tension because of the stress in the shoulders, so yes, she tends to raise them. To lower them would actually be good! :P In my opinion, she does it more often in Latin (Cha Cha Cha, Paso Doble) than in her Ballroom where her top line actually remains rather still, although admittedly never for the full performance. I don't think she necessary lost energy in the end of the performance. What I think happened is that they didn't understand what she did - which is a really bad attempt at a heel slide.   If you look at her, it looks like she's losing energy, with a laboured walk to get the next position, but it's because of the missed heel slide. ----- I also agree that she's leaving this week, imo. The Quickstep is a fab dance, and she obviously shone this week despite the undermarking (public agreed and saved her), but sadly all of her remaining dances are not good for her. Like I said, she will struggle either way with the Samba or the Rumba. There's no way around it. The Rumba would be the one I think she will struggle the least with personally, but it's the one the judges will score more harshly. They are usually kinder to the female celebrities doing the Samba. So...choose your poison, guys. Her two remaining Ballroom are the Waltz and the Argentine Tango, but she will never do an AT as they are usually kept for the "contenders/finalists". Which is why Debbie, Alexandra and now next week Davood will get to do one. The last one will be kept for whoever is in the finals (most likely Joe). On a more positive note, her Quickstep is actually the 2nd most watched performance of the night on YouTube, obviously after Debbie's Argentine Tango. :cheer:
  19. It has nothing to do with being on a stan horse's back.  If you actually know your stuff, on a pure Ballroom and technical stand of view, Mollie's frame, top line and head positions have been above Gemma and Davood's, similar to Joe's, weaker than Alexandra's and Debbie's. Gemma's footwork tend to be sloppy, she doesn't close her feet at times. Davood has awful, and I mean truly awful, timing. Always behind the beat. Both have had issues with gapping, whereas Mollie and AJ are usually quite well glued to eachother. That being said, that's two times (almost in a row) that Mollie's feet have been an issue, so you could call her footwork sloppy as well. I could go on and on, honestly. A lot of people with dance knowledge have seen through it. You can't always purely based your opinion on what the judges tell you, guys. Mollie's biggest issue, and sadly, it's one you can't just fix in a matter of weeks, meaning the judges will use it against her every week at every possible opportunity, is that she is incredibly tiny, has a weak core, and by definition, doesn't have the strongest balance as she doesn't pull her weight in the right places. She's basically the only contestant with this issue, so it's easy to pick her up on it. Admittedly, Gemma has 200% much better core than Mollie, but the girl trains everyday at the gym, so no surprise. ------ Now that being said, Mollie has most likely the Samba (too fast for her, and her balance will be tested during the botafogos, as well as the voltas....Oh god, I don't even want to imagine the promenade runs!! ) OR the Rumba (slower, more similar to her Ballroom, which she's good at....BUT, Mollie has been really struggling to put all her weight into her standing leg, to make her legs fully straight as well, also seems to have issues switching weight from one leg to another (could be an issue for the Samba as well), there's also the issue with finishing her lines and the stiffiness of her hips which could be an obstacle. She also has the Waltz which she would 100% nail obviously, but I doubt she would have a Ballroom next week.
  20. I think it's a shame. She's 100% on the same level as Davood and Gemma, but the undermaking makes her look weaker than she is. You can add 3 points to everyone of her scores, it wouldn't feel like you've been overscoring her, and it would paint a better representation of her level. Really a shame. But yes, she's leaving this week realistically. Still, she made it as far as 6th which is where some of us predicted she would be at.
  21. Mine is right, and
