Exactly. I really hope there is a proper campaign being thought about with, hopefully, the label thinking about *cough* paying *cough* the radios. Or hell just an amazing radio plugger, that would be great already.

So the rumour is, for now she has a single-deal, meaning the label will put up a budget for the first single - if that does well, a 360-full-on deal will be up and an album will follow. If it doesn't, everything will be scrapped and sold to other artists. I believe Mollie has co-written a lot this past year. If that's true, then she can still salvage things a little bit if she flops by selling these songs and getting coins for her writing credits. It does seem, however, like she wants to release an album so it will be interesting to see if she ever goes to the indie route if things doesn't end up well.

I know you are babe, but I still think it's a valid point. Based on talent alone, Vanessa should be the one to look forward to, but God, she's working with minus Z-list producers at this point, it's so boring. I mean, get Ina to write a more or less RnB track at least, or something, you know?! Whereas Mollie truly seems to be giving everything to make up for her short comings (lack of amazing vocals, etc.) as well as putting together a decent team of producers in the hope of building some hype. I just wish Vanessa would/could do the same (I know, having a good label helps too).

She's "overhyped" because...well, there is a reason to hype her. I mean, for Christ's sake, she's rumoured to be working with Max Martin and Vanessa is still probably letting her little sister or sum' produce her songs. It's just not the same thing. :unsure:

I really can't wait for her album. She's been incredibly quiet about it, she needs to start building hype properly.

That's such a weird thing to do at this point in her career, but I guess that's more money in her pocket. Well, Mollie still isn't listed on the Island Records website, so who knows?

We can probably get one or two bops, the most pop-ish one. But the propect of an album of just her guitar kinda scares me... :unsure: Will there be no other instruments at all? I mean, bless her, I know she can play guitar and all, but it's not like she was THAT good either, I can't believe she would rely on just that. It's just gonna sound all so samey... :unsure:

I actually do love it, I think it's great, but it's so basic and uninspired. It's like too much of a classic pop song, but in a bad way instead of good?

I actually think they would go for Leave A Light On, lol you know them. Chasing Lights gives more closure, though. Last Call is a bit too much bitter? Leave A Light On leaves the door open for a return lol.
