Obviously "struggling" is subjective as some big artists might not chart in the top 10 right away because of streaming, but it's decent enough for them to chart in the top 40 whereas Mollie won't. But yeah, hits are built through time and are less front-loaded than in the past, mainly because of streaming. ------ Just saw the top 1000 in France. COME THROUGH MY PEOPLE!

It was #32 in Ireland but it's back at #36. Still #18 in the UK. That will be the peak for the week I think, but that's still insanely better than what we've all expected. She's doing quite poorly on streaming though, so definitely do give it a play on Spotify please, guys!

Very much yes. This is why you gotta cross your fingers the label has a plan to make her more popular on these platforms, otherwise she will suffer a lot from it.

Actually Ellie's song was released just this morning after it got played on Radio 1. So the fact that she's behind Mollie for now is understandable, but it will change. Still, Mollie is doing great nonetheless.

Look, I know Vanessa is on small indie label (and that has both its ups and its downs when it comes down to releasing music), but Mollie's era has been so much more satisfying this far, and in every aspect. Not only is the music much better, but so are the visuals, and it's so exciting to follow the song on iTunes. (But, yes, I know. Smaller vs major label, etc. )
