'Not Giving Up' · Discussion ii
BIGGER IS AMAZING OMG. Dare I say it but I prefer this to Not Giving Up  THE SATS DOING MY FAVE STYLE OF MUSIC AHHHH. SERIOUSLY DEAD. IT'S WOW. But it needs to be at least 60 seconds longer and I can't help but feel like it would be so much better sung only by Vanessa and with no autotune, even though Rochelle does suit the song, sadly the others don't.

Enrique Iglesias - Sex + Love
I predict a #23 peak for this, if Beautiful smashes ten i see it maybe sticking around *a little* while longer an maybe shifting a further 15-20k but unless he unleashes an I international monster of a song (which tbh isn't in the album), I don't see Sex + Love shifting any more than 50k frankly. PERFECT ERA Single #1 - I'm a Freak (we can pretend the other flops didnt happen) Peak - #4 Sales - 200k Single #2 - Beautiful Peak - #8 Sales - 150k Single #3 - There Goes My Baby Peak - #3 Sales - 300k Single #4 - You & I Peak - #5 (if Trumpets can go Top 5, pretty sure this can) Sales - 200k Single #5 - Heart Attack (re-release) Peak - #10 Sales - 100k Album Peak - #7 Album Sales - 135k

Enrique Iglesias - Sex + Love
I don't know why but I really like this album, but then again it takes more effort to make a song I dislike thank it does to make a song I enjoy haha. Other than the fact that You and I is a complete Don't You Worry Child rip off I quite like it. Physical, I'm a Freak, Still Your King, Let Me Be Your Lover, Only a Woman, Turn Up the Night, Finally Found You, Beautiful and I Like How It Feels are all GREAT! Heart Attack is the best, I'm not overly fussed on the Spanish songs, though.

Neon Jungle - Welcome To The Jungle
Oops that meant to say records not just singles, and anyway that wasn't the point of the post.

Neon Jungle - Welcome To The Jungle
Okay I agree that Neon Jungle do seem to be producing some bangers lately and are showing great promise to be a sustainable girl group, but disparaging other groups, especially one like The Saturdays for instance, a group who have to date sold around 4.5 million singles and have 13 Top Ten Hits to their name thus far, is wrong. They came along in a girl band drought and picked up where Girls Aloud left off, 6 years down the line, acts such as JLS, Eliza DooLittle and countless other girl bands have come and gone and they're still here with a hard core fan base and yet another radio playlisted single soon to impact the high end of the Top 40. Comparing the two bands just can't be done at the stage of their careers, Neon Jungle haven't even solidified their places within today's music scene yet, hardly any body knows who they are, they just know "that song Braveheart by that girl band" and there's not even a release date for their first album. While I admit that Welcome to the Jungle does sound like it's going to be huge, they still have only one 'moderate' hit to their names, I say moderate as it is yet to even be certified. Obviously I really wish the best for these girls and so desperately want them to go on and have a long, successful career, but you just can't predict what the future will be like for them, I mean everyone thought that Stooshe were the new 'it girl group' after Black Heart did so well and then it all went tits up after the third single. Having faith and loyalty to your favourite band is one thing. Mocking other respectable acts and being arrogant is another. Don't get me wrong i LOVE Neon Jungle and think they have a great image/style/sound and should appeal to a lot of people, but for now they're on new soil, it's the beginning of the career, one slight mishap from them could mean the end. They're lucky they even got a second single, I mean some people had written them off after Trouble. Anyway... WELCOME TO THE JUNGLE TO SMASH PLEASE

PREDICT: The Pretty Reckless - Going To Hell
http://www.eonline.com/eol_images/Entire_Site/2014022/rs_600x600-140122085918-600-pretty-reckless-going-to-hell.ls.12214_copy.jpg So The Pretty Reckless are releasing their new album on Monday (16th March), now I really love them and think Taylor makes great music. Their first era was very successful, with single 'Make Me Wanna Die' going Top 20 which is a rare occurrence for a song like that to do these days, not to mention that their debut album went to number 6. Now, Miss Momsen has left a large gap (four years to be exact) between her releases but I think this album is going to be more mature, naturally as shes growing up, but also to a better standard as her songwriting skills develop and she experiences more, I really wish the best for them with this release. They're also known to have a very loyal and ever expanding fan base. The album is currently hovering just out side the Top 100 on iTunes. New single Heaven Knows is out now and has been climbing iTunes for the past two weeks and is currently at number #66. How do you think this album will perform? The albums lead single 'Going To Hell' V=bmtbg5b7_Aw The song currently impacting the Top 75 on iTunes 'Heaven Knows' V=rHBxJCq99jA

Pixie Lott - Nasty
As much as I'm really not fussed on Pixie, sometimes I like her, sometimes she's tragic, I think it's time she had her own forum, I can't for a second understand why but she gets so many pages when a new thread is created about her... Lee you know what to do... POLL TIME :D :cheer:
-
Lily Allen - Our Time
Can I just ask why this says '5th Single?' In the thread title? Surely it would be the fourth after Somewhere Only We Know, Hard Out Here and Air Balloon? Anyway I've gotta say Lily has been ***FLAWLESS this era, HOH is a solid 10, pop perfection. Air Balloon is a definite 9 and SOWK is a beautiful cover however as it is only a cover I'd give it an 8. As for this masterpiece... 11's ACROSS THE BOARD :cheer: :cheer: the video is BRILLIANT, the drunk scene at the end is genius, possible acting career after the music Miss Cooper? Also I feel that the song is a lot more melodic and laid back than HOH and AB (obviously not SOWK) as well as being fun and uplifting, wow I can't wait for Sheezus now!!! EDIT: forgot to say how much I ADORE L8 Cmmr  and how I can't explain my excitement for the Iggy collaboration! Although sometimes I wish she'd continued doing her classic, kooky, little indie pop songs, she's not letting me down so far which is great! :cheer:

Christina Perri - Head Or Heart
PREDICTION: ~Human~ Peak - 4 Weeks Top Ten - 5 Weeks Top Fourty - 15 Debut Sales - 65,000 Sales - 500,000 ~Head or Heart~ Peak - 3 Weeks Top Ten - 2 Weeks Top Fourty - 9 Debut Sales - 16,000 Sales - 60,000 The stats for Head or Heart are all initially, I have no clue whether it will re-peak or have any form of resurgence later on in it's chart life. Here's hoping though, Christina Perri is the true definition of an underrated artist

ALREADY E-MAILED THEIR LABEL. THEIR MANAGEMENT HAS BEEN FIRED. COOLMARC, WE'RE IN.

Neon Jungle - Braveheart
I really hope that Welcome To the Jungle is the last release before the album, we don't want what happened to Stooshe happening to them. Also consistently showing the general public that all you do is generic (I'll be it AMAZING ) dance music won't entise them into buying your album any more. I THINK... Welcome To the Jungle (April 20th) Album (April 28th) Summery Ballad (July/August) Another Dance Track (October) Another Dance Track but slightly edgier, more versatile (February 2015) Album Re-Release (February 2015) Another Dance Track (May 2015) ...would do well. It would give them a chane at shifting a decent amount of copies of their album.

Neon Jungle - Braveheart
It really needs to hurry up and go silver, especially if they want to compete with the likes of The Saturdays whom with their second single managed to sell 350k+ and them managed to emulate that success with their next two singles. I'm sure that Welcome To the Jungle will be a big enough club hit that may even perform better than Braveheart, I just don't see them shifting many albums outside of their fan base, something The Sats managed to do so effortlessly. So their singles definitely need to translate well else they won't get very far. Here's hoping though, I really do love these girls!

Neon Jungle - Welcome To The Jungle
Braveheart - 10/10 Trouble - 9/10 Welcome To the Jungle - 9.5/10 Judging by the preview, Welcome To the Jungle could rival Braveheart as my favourite NJ song!
