Yes the Sats record is safe because Daft Punk have already chart therefore they are not elidgable to beat What About Us in its second week because that wouldn't be the 'fastest selling single' now would it? That would just be the highest selling single in one sales week. What About Us remain the fastest. Case closed.
  3. How do you know this!? Even if they do release this in the fourth quarter that's notching to worry about because if you remember correctly Chasing Lights was released in November. As long as they launch the album with a hit (ala Up) and release 2/3 moderate hits afterwards the album should still sell well and peak quite high (low top ten?).
  4. I personally love 'Hair' I think it's so good and fun! 'Eh Eh's video is amazing! She looks so pretty and actually I think that is one of the most beautiful videos I think I've ever seen tbh. 'Government Hooker' is a classic. It's so catchy, especially the 'I'm gonna drink my tears tonight, I'm gonna drink my tears and cry' part. 'So Happy I Could Die' is Gaga at her best, 'The Fame Monste'r *for me* was the highlight of her career. Not ONE thing was bad about that album, every song could have been a single IMO. I'm so glad we have yet to see ScheiBe, Heavy Metal Lover, Bloody Mary, Monster, Dance In The Dark or Poker Face yet! COME ON MONSTER!!!

They could've made it album-only due to its success.
  6. When will the results be announced?
  7. So the songs in speculation for the album are:- Gentlemen Lease My Love What About Us All 4 Love You Dont Have The Right 30 Days Not Giving Up On Love (imagine if this wasn't even included on the album and we never even got to hear a full version) :-O I hope Frankie sings more on this album, I personally love her voice, but then again I think Louis is the best singer in One Direction. I think the order for best overall voice (not ability, just best voice) is: Rochelle - She's improved MAJORLY since the start of the band, her falsetto is so much more controlled and feminine than it used to be, it used to be so shakey. She's always been good at the lower harmonies and has really good control over her voice when she's singing in her lower range but has adapted her higher range to almost match the same quality. Although sometimes strained she is actually quite a powerhouse and can pull of a high note or two. As for runs, licks and trills... She has also improved in this department aswell, she never really had enough lines in the 'Chasing Lights' era to showcase her vocal dynamics but when she came to her own in the 'Wordshaker' era she definitley boasted a nice range of gymnastics within her voice on tracks like 'Denial' and 'Wordshaker'. She also has a very nice, deep tone, perfect for R&B ballads and more empowerment type songs (ala Beyonce). Due to Vanessa's recently lacking voice Rochelle has naturally taken the lead, leaving the others so far behind her. Vanessa - Now Vanessa, or should I say... Tranessa, traipses in second (most likely drunk) after failing to deliver her phenomenal voice we all know she has inside of her live nor in the studio. At the very beginning of The Saturdays as they were emerging to the dizzy heights of the public eye Vanessa was considered the 'Xtina' of the group due to her INCREDIBLE range and knock-dead sass she... Well... Knocked us dead with. Littering 'Chasing Lights' with ad-libs and arguably the stand out verses of the album whilst also being the only girl in the band to receive a solo on every song (unsurprisingly). However, her voice may be outstanding but over these past few years her vocal ability has started faulter, whether it be down to her alcoholism, her smoking or her "lack of confidence" nobody knows, thus remain the mystery of Tranessa. As a consequence of consistent cracks and flat notes she suffers a blow to the 'Best singer' reputation and fails to wow us with her once sensational vocal gymnastics (whilst regularly having to use her same-old albeit stunning falsetto) and gaining less solos on albums e.g. 'On Your Radar'. Having said this, Vanessa still remains one of the most talanted artists of the group hense the 'Second best singer' title. Una - Now Una is a tricky voice to try and "de-code", if you will. Although being the very talented, hard-working musician she is, her voice quite often manages to underwhelm. Despite having one of the largest vocal ranges in The Saturdays (the reason for all of the big notes she owns) it is regularly inconsistent, especially when singing live. She's proven that she can belt a bigg'un (Keep me on your radaaaaaaaaar, so listeeeeeeeen [however that latter being smothered with auto-tune]) but never delivers live. Taking into account her lack of control over the big notes during performances, she's showed us time and time again that acoustic performances really are her forte. Without having to dance awkwardly just sitting with a guitar on her lap makes Una the star of the group for a few minutes as she can use runs, licks and trills as well as using ad-libs to surprise us with an unforgettable vocal delivery. Una's range is rather huge, I mean one minute she can be harmonising on her lower register alongside Rochelle, the next she can be dealing her always alarming feline-register alongside the pitch-perfect, flawless falsetto Mollie but her voice does become a little grating when her tone summons dogs and cats to the stage with her iconic 'mating call of the bluebird' voice. The not-so-typically girl band style singer earns the "coveted" third place spot. Frankie - Despite not having the best voice in the group, she most certainly does not have the worst. Coming at fourth is the VERY inconsistent (due to her low self-esteem) but nevertheless beautifully toned Frankie. Her tone is gorgeous, her range is quite large and is able to sing a marvellous falsetto, but every asset comes at a price... It's jut a shame that Frankie's price is that she very rarely manages to deliver that voice when needed. She has the capability to belt like Vanessa (see live acoustic version of 'Issues' at the Nokia Green Room) ad not get drowned out and then can use a lower register on songs like 'What About Us' where in live performance flaunts a nice vibrato although virtually whispering it. In my opinion Frankie has the most listenable voice when she gets it right (an example is 'Turn Myself In' live at the Headlines! Tour) but when she shakes and sings off-key, her voice can sound very nasal and flat which leads many people to believe she is the least vocally talanted. Mollie - Finally, we have the pitch-perfect, flawless falsetto pop princess Mollie! I think Mollie has the smallest range within the group and very rarely sings out of her comfort zone (quite rightly). This then causes a consistently good performance from her a she can nail every note and even kick her efforts into falsetto which then shows her poppy, cutesy, oh-so Mollie voice which we all know and love. As I sated earlier she mainly executes the notes perfectly but when she holds a note for too long or is given a run or trill to complete, the outcome is not what is hoped for. Mollie is best when given the quick, soft notes rather than the long, dynamically challenging ones (See Vanessa's ad-lib straight after the second chorus in 'Last Call'). Her consistency live and in the studio earns Mollie a very good reputation but her in capability to impress with a large range leaves her trailing in last place, all the while most definitley not being labelled a 'Bad singer'. This is my evaluation on their voices, feel free to challenge the ideas and comment, I love a good debate haha! This is also why I hope on this new album ROBO-Frankie disappears and Rochelle owns it. EDIT - sorry for all the mistakes and there were loads of colours and bold words to make it easier to read but my iPod f***ed it up :(

  10. As long as least 3 of these are in the top ten I'll rest easy: Bloody Mary SheiBe Monster Dance In The Dark Heavy Metal Lover Poker Face (this obviously will be).
  11. I'm not lying. Reasons why I can't tell you any details of the song is because she's NOT ALLOWED to tell me, she only gave me her OPINIONS she can't just go around saying, these are the the lyrics, Mollie sings that part, heres the name of their album and this is really the next single etc. she coul get fired for doing that, so excuse me for wanting to share some of my excitement with you all, next time I here something amazing, ill just keep it to myself.

  14. Why? What have I done? I don't mean to upset any NGUOL stans but I'm only stating what I've heard *crosses fingers that NGUOL isn't as bad as she made it out to be*.
  15. Okay guys you don't have to believe me and to be honest If I was reading this I wouldn't believe me either but my uncles (relatively new) girlfriend works in 'the biz' and is executive something or whatever at Polydor and told me yesterday that she's heard both Not Giving Up On Love and Gentleman. She too after watching CTS said that NGUOL sounded soooo much better than Gentleman but after hearing both in full she said that Gentleman utterly annialates Not Giving Up On Love. She can't play the song to me or reveal anything about them and can't even tell me if Gentlemen is the next single (even though it obs is). She also said that NGUOL is so over-produced that the clips are actually slightly misleading however after hearing Gentlemen with the girls voices all on the same level apparently it has a MASSIVE chorus and that Mollie and Frankie are the shiners of the song. She may be leading me on but then again why would she lie to me? So yeah I hope this is true!

  18. I wasn't being aggressive, I was merely being blunt, as was wall.
  19. No, actually NIELSEN SOUNSCAND who collect the OFFICIAL airplay top 5 every Sunday have posted the chart and The Saturdays are at number 5, okay?
  20. We're at number 5 in the OFFICIAL radio airplay chart kids!
  21. I still think Higher all the way.
  22. With that in mind, let us not forget that will.i.am is MASSIVE in the UK and not only that the general public will now be reminded of him via a magical TV show called THE VOICE UK that's started again not only that but Scream and Shout is STILL being constantly played by TV's and everytime I go on the Capital website (daily). They've played #thatPower within the last half an hour. Also his last two songs have gone to number one, with one featuring Eva Simons (as much as I love her, she's virtually unknown) and Britney Spears (no one seems to care for any more, apart from Princess Mollie ofc). This song is featuring Justin Bieber who has a MUCH bigger following and tbh IMO this is a better song than both S&S and This is Love. All my friends who are Bieber fans are already craving for the son to be released so to say that Bieber fans wont care for it is obserd and to say it won't go top 10!? That's just a little bit crazy dont you think? He'll DEFINITLEY be top 10, UNDOUBTABLY top 5 and MOST LIKELY number one. I mean c'mon if Boomerang can make it to number 6....? Call me out IF I'm wrong, but I won't be.
  23. I'd love another week in the top 5 but I think we're looking at a number 6/7 next week because will.i.am's new song with JB is supposed to get released tomorrow :(
  24. Jark, who are you on the forum? And is that really very necessary? I'm just fed up of this whole US venture taking so long do I though if someone like Rihanna's wiki page could be edited why not publicise the Sats? But it got removed almost instantly :( oh well. Can't blame a guy for trying. Oh yeah and I'm honestly not anything to do with either of the Quen Rochele accounts, I wish I was thought, they're so funny.
  25. It only need 70,000 copies sold to go platinum in Australia.
