Toxic and Everytime were 2004 weren't they? More than 7 years ago. Anyhow, I agree that Britney seems pretty irrelevant these days. Maybe top 10, but with a very quick fall. She needs to release something more interesting.
  2. +5 Klangkarussell feat. Will Heard - Sonnentanz (Sun Don't Shine) +4 OneRepublic - Counting Stars +3 Avicii - Wake Me Up +2 Lana Del Rey - Summertime Sadness +1 Katy Perry - Roar -1 Ellie Goulding - Burn -2 Drake feat. Majid Jordan - Hold On, We're Going Home -3 Macklemore & Ryan Lewis feat. Mary Lambert - Same Love -4 Lady Gaga - Applause -5 Miley Cyrus - We Can't Stop Actually like the whole top 10 other than Miley Cyrus! :o
  3. Why is Jason Derulo doing so much better with this than with The Other Side? I mean, I don't love either, but this is far worse... :puke:

I'll predict top 10. Have to say though, I don't get the Lawson hate on here. Their singles are always catchy and there hasn't been one I haven't liked - though I must admit, the album isn't that great. Other than the singles, there are only two songs that are really worth a listen for me. Anyway, this is another great song in my opinion, like all their previous pre-album singles this will go top 10 with their strong fanbase, then drop quickly. It's just a shame that for me, their best single (Learn To Love Again) was released after the album, as it's their only non top 10 single :(

  8. PneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosisGa. --------- Unpopular opinion it may be but I'm happy to see Chasing Cars top 40 again. Maybe it could reach a million within a couple of months after this boost! :D
  9. +5 Avicii - Wake Me Up +4 Lana Del Rey - Summertime Sadness +3 Arctic Monkeys - Why'd You Only Call Me When You're High? +2 Ellie Goulding - Burn +1 Lady Gaga - Applause -1 The Wanted - We Own The Night -2 Jay-Z feat. Justin Timberlake - Holy Grail -3 Miley Cyrus - We Can't Stop -4 Robin Thicke feat. TI & Pharrell - Blurred Lines -5 Tinie Tempah feat. 2 Chainz - Trampoline
  10. Anyone else noticed that there are only two songs in the iTunes top 10 that were there two weeks ago? That's amazing after all these months of slow movement! :o
  11. I'd love Sonnentanz to be number 1 but it just doesn't look like it's going to happen. Still, it should get some good sales based on how well the pre-order is doing! :)
  12. I don't think it will come out here before the US, and by the time it's midnight there we'll be well into Tuesday. I would assume it will be released on Wednesday... Giving Ellie a reasonably good head start!
  13. +5 John Newman - Love Me Again +4 Lana Del Rey - Summertime Sadness +3 Avicii - Wake Me Up +2 Calvin Harris feat. Ayah Marar - Thinking About You +1 Icona Pop feat. Charli XCX - I Love It -1 One Direction - Best Song Ever -2 Miley Cyrus - We Can't Stop -3 Tinie Tempah feat. 2 Chainz - Trampoline -4 Robin Thicke feat. TI & Pharrell - Blurred Lines -5 Jay-Z feat. Justin Timberlake - Holy Grail What a shocking top 10. I pretty much hate everything apart from the top 3, though I do like all three of those. It's a shame because until last week, the top 10 had been pretty good overall :(

Anyone who cared enough to pre-order would surely have got it in the first week anyway? Besides, they don't actually get the song until the week it comes out (and in most cases they don't pay for it until then anyway) so technically they have bought it on the first week!
  15. I do appreciate you taking the time and effort to post this. It can be really helpful to always have a release schedule handy. Thanks for all the hard work MasterJon! :) However, I do want to point out (for the means of correctness and not a personal attack, as anyone could have missed it) that True Love by P!nk is still on the future releases part, and should be removed as it is already out :P
  16. I want the Wanted to get to number 5 - just for a nice pattern :)
  17. I feel like giving this a go (there weren't enough songs that I liked from previous years that got through for me to vote for) :P 01. Fun. - Some Nights (20 points) 02. Lana Del Rey - Born To Die 03. Disclosure (feat. Sam Smith) - Latch 04. P!nk - Try 05. Of Monsters And Men - Little Talks 06. Swedish House Mafia - Greyhound 07. David Guetta (feat. Sia) - She Wolf (Falling To Pieces) 08. Gotye (feat. Kimbra) - Somebody That I Used To Know (would be higher at the time but I'm bored of it now) 09. Florence & The Machine - Spectrum (based on the original) 10. Coldplay (feat. Rihanna) - Princess Of China 11. Emeli Sandé - Next To Me 12. Swedish House Mafia - Don't You Worry Child (The rest I wouldn't go out of my way to listen to) 13. Fun. (feat. Janelle Monae) - We Are Young 14. Little Mix - DNA 15. Kelly Clarkson - What Doesn't Kill You (Stronger) 16. Little Mix - Wings 17. Calvin Harris (feat. Florence Welch) - Sweet Nothing 18. Stooshe - Black Heart 19. Loreen - Euphoria 20. Maroon 5 & Wiz Khalifa - Payphone (1 point)
  18. I'd love for Things We Lost in the Fire to get a place in the top 40, but since Laura Palmer couldn't, even following a massive hit like Pompeii, I don't hold out much hope. Great single choices from Bastille though, I've loved all (six!) of them! :)
  19. +5 Naughty Boy feat. Sam Smith - La La La +4 John Newman - Love Me Again +3 Lana Del Rey - Summertime Sadness (judged on the original) +2 Passenger - Let Her Go +1 Avicii - Wake Me Up -1 Icona Pop feat. Charli XCX - I Love It -2 Calvin Harris feat. Ayah Marar - Thinking About You -3 Robin Thicke feat. TI & Pharrell - Blurred Lines -4 will.i.am - Bang Bang -5 One Direction - Best Song Ever
  20. If this remix gets deleted rather quickly, it could still just sell enough to go top 200 next Sunday - meaning Ellie Goulding could have a rather massive climb the week after, like 185-3
  21. Yes Paradise - Grab that boost to over a million! I want to see if the OCC will finally count its lost sales if it passes a million including them!
  22. +5 Naughty Boy feat. Sam Smith - La La La +4 John Newman - Love Me Again +3 Passenger - Let Her Go +2 Daft Punk feat. Pharrell Williams - Get Lucky +1 Avicii - Wake Me Up -1 Icona Pop feat. Charli XCX - I Love It -2 Selena Gomez - Come & Get It -3 Robin Thicke feat. TI & Pharrell - Blurred Lines -4 One Direction - Best Song Ever -5 will.i.am - Bang Bang
  23. There is no way John Newman is returning to number 1 - he's holding up well but Avicii is selling three times as much
  24. I like the song, but there's no way it would block 1D from the top 3 (especially as they're going to be number 2, so one song couldn't get them out of the top 3) because neither artist are popular enough. I hope for top 10 but think top 40 at best.
  25. I don't think they'll fall below 10k. Might be wrong, but when it happened last year it was the lowest sale of the year by some margin (next lowest was 14k) and it was due to a combination of factors such as the Olympics, it being the middle of summer, and absolutely nothing big out that week. I think it's unlikely to happen again this year, but we could be seeing it a lot more over the next few years. :(
