Well, if the Spice Girls reform in 2036 for a 40th anniversary tour they could call themselves Old Spice. (Old joke too)

This sounds very very similar in arrangement to the classic 1964 Petula Clark recording.

Infernal

This sounds quite nice. :)

Only down 8????? :o

woooo! Shakira, Shakira! This song restored my faith in the record buying public!

Be careful! ;)

I am considering changing to Classic FM for three minutes!

Aaargh!

Slow droppings this week. There can't be many new entries.

I don't like the Number 40. I prefer Number 39!

My favourite song from 2001: Can't Get You Out Of My Head. I managed to enjoy that one round an Uncle's house!

Ah, I was into new music from 1992-1999 and bands like Steps and S Club 7 put me off entirely. I became a Deadhead and only returned to new music this summer.

I didn't really listen to new music between 2000 and the start of this year.

The retro is erm.... Maybe I wasn't listening to music that year.

I do like the song Patience. :)

 So would I. It could happen. I don't think there is a runaway Number 1 this week.

Oops! I have replaced the Westlife error!

Hmmmm. Beyonce is holding up well with Irreplaceable. My predictions (I hope that there was a last minute surge in Take That downloads, but probably not enough) are as follows: (12) 01 Akon feat. Eminem (14) 02 Justin Timberlake feat. TI  NEW 03 Take That :cheer: (01) 04 Westlife (05) 05 Beyonce (03) 06 All Saints (04) 07 Fedde Le Grande (02) 08 U2 & Green Day (28) 09 Robbie Williams (06) 10 Bodyrox feat. Luciana (07) 11 Girls Aloud (33) 12 Christina Aguilera I'll stop here as half of those are probably wrong enough as it is. :)

1 Shakira Ft Wyclef Jean - Hips Don't Lie 2 Take That - Patience 3 The Zutons - Valerie 4 Sugababes - Red Dress 5 Snow Patrol - Chasing Cars 6 Shayne Ward - No Promises 7 Will Young - All Time Love

Take That are doing very well. :yahoo:

What I would like to see on Sunday: NEW 1 Take That :yahoo: (14) 2 Justin Timberlake (12) 3 Akon feat. Eminem (01) 4 Westlife (03) 5 All Saints

Are they all covers? I see that No. 12 was a big hit for Cilla Black in 1971.

I think it has now risen to No. 1!

It would be very nice if Take That could knock Westlife from the top.
