So it’s been 17 years to the since About You Now got to #1 in the UK. That makes me feel so old. I can remember posting on the Sugababes around that time.

Great countdown Joseph! Love Shine, only discovered it around 2011-12 but it’s been a firm favourite since then.

It is harder I agree, still possible though I think, even in that time. It might be rare but in Australia Delta Goodrem’s debut album reach #1 and sold over a million copies and still had all 5 of its singles go #1 in 2003. So true pippa, it’s such a varied discography. Thanks for your input along the way with this too. :)

Patience is amazing too. I knew part of the chorus for a while as it was used in an ad here, but I could never work out what song it was. When I found out it was this I checked it out and I’ve been a fan since.

I did seem to think Cher’s was released fairly early.

Just noticed it was on streaming, will check them out too.

Rule The World is sublime, I only discovered during lockdown in 2020.

I watched it live from home, I thought it was ok without being amazing.

Agree with Love At First Sight, I think it’s very well known outside the fan base. In Your Eyes dispatch #1 in Australia, I’m sure of it. I know you weren’t referring to that though.

Great choice gooddelta! I loved this album back in 2005 but haven’t really revisited it since then if I’m being honest. 2005 was my second last year of high school, so it brings back many memories for me too.

I gave it a curiosity play and it’s not that bad, Kelly can certainly deliver a great Christmas song. I do agree though September is far to early.

Well that was a fun three and a half weeks! I'm hoping all those who contributed, commented or even just read along with this throughout enjoyed it too. Even if you don't all agree with my ranks. :) I've really enjoyed discovering Kylie Minogues massive catalogue of music over the last nine months and I've found so many gems.
