  1. I like the idea of getting a b-side, I just wish they put it in streaming. I get it though, it’s incentive to buy the physical.
  2. Thank you!! It really is. Though I don’t venture over to every artists forum to be fair. I quite liked this on first listen. Not super instant for me, but I’m definitely coming back to it again.
  3. This does actually feel like a jazz covers album now. Though I’ve only heard snippets.
  4. Thank you! Hopefully with my album listen throughs and singles ranks I’ve become a part of the family here. :)
  5. Well I guess I better get listening to Tension again then. I voted for Kylie, just to start from the start. Honestly though I’ll be happy revisiting any album.
  6. Really looking forward to this. It’s actually my first full era as a fan and not just a casual listener.
  7. Ah thanks, I thought that might’ve been the case but wasn’t 100% sure. Thanks, that’s a fair point. I just thought she might leave some breathing space between them, but I’m all for an October release.
  8. Crazy good when you see some of the songs on this list.
  9. Unfortunately the decline has started on iTunes in Australia. Now #36, it got as high as #33 from what I could see. Still pretty decent though.
  10. Kylie Minogue has been nominated for 5 ARIA Awards including: Album of the Year - Tension Best Pop Release — Tension Best Independent Release - Tension Best Song - Tension Best Solo Artist
  11. I'm not sure what the forums consensus is on the majority of these 12 songs are, so I'm looking forward to the replies. :)
  12. 7D60fDLNjbg Album Tracks & B-sides Honourable Mentions #6 Made Of Glass #5 Fever #4 Tightrope #3 Nothing To Lose #2 I'm Over Dreaming (Over You) #1 So Now Goodbye Unlike the previous 6 songs I had a much easier time ranking these. Made Of Glass is a brilliant little pop song and I can't believe it was relegated to b-side status on the Giving You Up single. I can still remember this being played regularly on Australian radio around the time Giving You Up was released. The title track of Kylie's 2001 album is next in Fever, this is another one that got a radio push in Australia so when it came to listening to Fever for the first time I was already familiar with this one/ The second Fever song of this section and third overall in the 12 is Tightrope, released as a bonus track for Fever or b-side for In Your Eyes depending on where you lived. This one instantly connected with me when listening to Fever for the first time and I've gone back to it several times since. Two songs from Enjoy Yourself feature at #3 and #2 in Nothing To Lose and I'M Over Dreaming (Over You), the former being another great late 80s PWL track and the latter being by far my greatest non single discovery of my Kylie 2024 journey. I absolutely love I'm Over Dreaming (Over You). Which means So Now Goodbye is my favourite Kylie album track or b-side and the only reason this wasn't the greatest discovery of my listen throughs was because my sister owned Light Years growing up and I can recall her playing this, so when I came back to Light Years more than two decades later it wasn't completely foreign to me.
  13. ouDdtLA9QVg Album Tracks & B-sides Honourable Mentions Fragile Like A Drug Sleeping With The Enemy Speakerphone Disco Down I Miss You The greatest thing to come from my listen through back at the start of the year was discovering so many hidden gems that didn't actually get the single treatment and would have probably always remain unheard for me if I didn't do this. Fragile is one that I've really taken a liking to and highlights how strong an album Fever is when songs like this weren't singles. Like A Drug and Speakerphone whilst feel very 2007 are two of my favourite songs from X and Sleeping With The Enemy is my favourite song from Kiss Me Once. Both of Disco Down and I Miss You were pleasant surprise from both the Light Years and Kylie listen throughs.
  14. Taking a slight side step from my singles rank to reveal my top 12 favourite Kylie Minogue album tracks & b-sides.. For honesty and clarity purposes I have heard all of Kylie's studio albums with the exception of Kylie Christmas, but when it comes to the b-sides I have only heard a hand full. As they are not on streaming and I don't have/know a comprehensive list if all the b-sides I haven't heard them all. I'll be doing them in two posts, the first will be ranked equal #7 as at this stage I can't separate them. I've found it easier to pick my top six, so $6-#1 in the following post will be in order from #6 to #1. As I really enjoyed the other 6 songs I thought it good to include them.
  15. Katy is currently in Australia. She’ll be performing at the AFL Grand Final on Saturday afternoon as the pre match entertainment.
  16. I was expecting her to be out very early.
  17. So with Harlequin out next Friday when do we realistically expect this LG7 lead single to get released? October now seems to soon. November is getting to close to Christmas that it’ll get lost in the Christmas music dominance. January seems to be to far away. It really could be any though.
  18. Yes! That’s be great. I was thinking maybe a remix, but I wouldn’t want it to tarnish the original. Even though I know I could just ignore it. Haha.
  19. Is it a chance of #1?
  20. Super Mario Party Jamboree is out in 3 weeks. From what they’ve revealed so far it’s looking like being a real return to form.
  21. Ooh this is tricky, there's a few I'd like to see first up. Will give it some thought. :)
  22. I did think Spinning Around was a bit of loved by the fan base, so this is a little surprising.
  23. Could HOT TO GO finish the year in the top 40? Or is it a bridge too far?
  24. So incredible and well deserved. Such a phenomenal album.
