Kesha - TBA
Ooh a re-record of Animal might be good. Agree that the opening to Tik Tok would be changed.
-
Ellie Goulding - Destiny
I was wondering what this was for, at first I thought it was the lead from a new album.

2025 BPI Certifications
Not sure, I'd think it would be. What what have sold more? I don't think It's My Life or You Give Love A Bad Name would've sold more.

Destinyβs Child for me for me. Bills, Bills, Bills was my introduction to them and I loved it, and Say My Name is just as good. Thanks! I love that you all seem to be enjoying these polls! π

Year End Battle UK vs AUS - Year 2000 - #6
To be fair to Bardot, HearβSay couldnβt match them in Australia. Pure & Simple peaked at #72 on the Australian Singles Chart in 2001. I guess it goes to show both both winners didnβt werenβt able to cross over.

90s Top 10 Sales- Week by Week- 1998
I can so clearly recall a memory from when Rollercoaster by B*Witched was released. My mum took the family to do the shopping and get dinner followed by going to Playtime, which was like an arcade with games where you win tickets for prizes. I had enough tickets to get a volley ball and Aqua necklace that night. Thanks to hitting the jackpot on one of the roulette type games.

Would love that version on streaming. I think it has everything from the Echo era.

Chez Wombat ranks the 2005 #1s
It's a little bit basic I agree, but nowhere near as basic as their last #1 hit About You Now was in my view.

Chez Wombat ranks the 2005 #1s
If I read it correctly in Mutya's autobiography she'd actually given birth just weeks before the music video for Push The Button was filmed. Crazy to think really.

Chez Wombat ranks the 2005 #1s
Love Push The Button now as much as I did then, though I'd probably have it below the three #1 they had preceding it.

Did M2M's Don't Say You Love Me do nothing after being predicted as a future hit on the January 23rd edition?

Year End Battle UK vs AUS - Year 2000 - #6
Bardot for me. I appreciate what pop culture impact Stan had and I recall it being everywhere at the end of 2000 start of 2001, but for me it's Poison. The first Australian Popstars and arguably the best of the two groups from the show. (The other formed in the 2001 version). Popstars was the talk of the playground at school, on all the music magazine covers the tv guides. It's was everywhere in a time before social media.
