wL2HKKrY7sM 25. Your Disco Needs You 24. Wouldn't Change A Thing 23. Hand On Your Heart 22. Chocolate 21. Wow Kicking off the section that just misses the top 20 is Your Disco Needs You, the nifal single from Light Years. This was a massive surprise for me as I absolutely detested this song for such a long time and I'm not sure why. My sister owned a copy of Light Years and would play this a lot, so maybe that's why. Wouldn't Change A Thing & Hand On Your Heart are both great early year Kylie classics and I just think it proves for me how much of a fan I've become of the PWL era Kylie. The placing of Chocolate i think will surprise many as I get the feeling it's not a fan favourite, for me though it's been one I've loved from the first time I've heard it. I can say the same for #21 as well, from the moment I first heard Wow I thought WOW! How did this not lead the X era? It's my favourite song from X. Placing these 5 were all so tough as I wanted to put them all in my top 20.

Thanks Padamic_Tension! I think in retrospect I do have Tears On My Pillow to high up, I haven't gone back to it much if at all since I finalise these placings. That indicates to me that I was a little generous with this. Agree on In My Arms though, X has some great albums tracks I'd have like to have been a single over this. Locomotion I think will always have a place with me too, it's pretty enjoyable. I'm so glad I discovered What Kind Of Fool (Heard It All Before) doing this. I missed out on it during my album listen through as it wasn't on a studio album. I can kinda understand that with Please Stay too. Thanks pippa! I hope that's not a bad thing. :) #25-#21 coming up now!

#6 is still pretty good, even if I did think it’d go top 5 last week. There’s always this week.

Tears On My Pillow dropped a bit over time for me and I can see that continuing to be honest.

Not to bothered with the result. Girls Aloud do have some great songs though, as do the Spice Girls.

CqZMghG34bY 30. What Kind Of Fool (Heard It All Before) 29. In My Arms 28. Tears On My Pillow 27. Locomotion 26. Please Stay Kicking off the top 30 is the lead single from Kylie's first greatest hits album. I'm not really sure what the consensus is on What Kind Of Fool (Heard It All Before) but for me it does the job well of rounding out the PWL era, not the best single she had under them but probably not the worst either. I quite enjoyed it. In My Arms is one I found a little tricky to place but it's certainly my second favourite single from X, even if I prefer some of the album tracks more. Tears On My Pillow was pleasant but doesn't quite match the highs of the remaining earlier singles for me. The single that started it all Locomotion finishes at a respectable #27, whilst it's far from her best it does get point for launching it all off. Closing off this section is Please Stay, which I get the impression isn't a huge fan favourite and whilst I did place it this high I can think of two or three other album tracks from Light Years I'd have preferred to be a single over this. I still do like it though.
