Come Into My World Kicking things off at #35 is Word Is Out, the first single from the album Let's Get To. When listening to the album for the first time at the start of the year I was surprised how much I enjoyed the majority of the singles from it. I don't think I've ever seen it discussed here, so to me it seems like a forgotten album. On the track itself though I like the styling of it quit a bit. Stop Me Falling was an instant highlight for when I first heard it in 2018, in fact it has the honour of being the song the got me back into Kylie Minogue for the first time in close to a decade, so it'll always be one I think of fondly. My first clear memory of Where The Wild Roses Grow the duet with Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds is when it featured on the PS2 game SingStar 90's, my brother and sister use to select it a fair bit. That in turn brought back faint memories I have from around 1995/96 and hearing it when it was a single but I didn't realise who Kylie Minogue was then. For a fair while Give Me Just A Little More Time was my favourite song from Let's Get To It, but it dropped a bit as I went further into Kylie's singles discography, still a great song though. Finally just missing out on a place in the top 30 is the final single from massive 8th studio album Fever. I can remember when Come Into My World was first released towards the end of 2002 and I thought it was ok but a little bit of a come down from the two proceeding singles earlier in the year. I'm more on board with it now though.

Katy Perry, Nelly Furtado, Pixie Lott and Cascada all in the next 5 weeks is giving me 00’s feels.

I’ve got find memories being at the football on a Friday night and listening to my pocket radio and hearing Giving You Up, so it’s got a bit of nostalgia attached to it for me.

Looking forward to the Live Lounge performance. I use to catch up on them frequently from around 2009-2013, then dropped away. I’m sure she’ll smash it though.

With the exclusion of No Man No Cry and Just Don’t Need This I know feel that when the Three vinyl arrives it won’t include Twisted or Buster in it. Same with Taller In More Ways which I suspect would leave off Better.

I tend to agree, the last few years had been looking quite old and stale.

ABBA are fantastic and would’ve been worthy winners. Of the two remaining I’m not really bothered with who wins.

It looks like a few great albums are appearing on vinyl this year. If I was a vinyl collector this would be high on my list.
