I just go on multiple listens. First run through I get rid of all the songs that immediately make me go UUURGH! If I listen to a song all the way through then it noves into the phase where I start ranking them. Don't ever award them points though. Although that is how I do my personal chart so maybe I should do that for BJSC.

What I also liked about Empire is the way that The Rebels had to retreat and regroup at the end of the film as it had all gone fairly badly wrong. And then we had to wait three whole years for the problems to be sorted. The trilogy would all have been shot together now, or at least Episodes V and VI.

Sally Fields is a great actress but she just isn't Aunt May. She's way too young looking for a start! Aunt May should be continually knocking at death's door. I wish she'd actually passed on in the comics then you wouldn't have the travesty of the Mephisto choice in the comics continuity.

I actually think Dagobah adds a lot to the film. Yoda is at his least cornball and the Vader scene is a good foreshadowing of the ending. Maybe I can overlook a lot of it's flaws as I was 11 when I first saw it back in 1980. I was 14 when Jedi came out so considered (and still do) the Ewoks unforgiveable. And Episodes I-III just didn't matter quite so much to me when they came out.

Was just checking out some stuff about Dylan covers and completely forgot Wheel's On Fire.

Not seeing as Tamborine Man got to #1 as did Quinn The Eskimo.

What madness is this? People actually rating Sith above Empire?!? The Empire Strikes Back is the best of the 6 films so far, just beating A New Hope. 1. The Empire Strikes Back 2. A New Hope 3. Return of the Sith 4. Return of the Jedi 5. Attack of the Clones 6. The Phantom Menace (Jar Jar Binks is the single worst character in the entire franchise)

Pale Green Ghosts (the track) is amazing. To my utter shame I haven't listened to the rest of the album.

I'm surprised I've got as much as a 25% top 10 hit rate!

Yeah but the Spider-man reboot is crap. Just get Batman to kick Clark's ass and I will be happy. The only other Superman story line I'd be happy seeing is the Death of Superman. The only interesting thing done with the character for over 70 years. Christ leave them both alone, get a proper Green Lantern story together, do a decent Flash movie and then do the JLA. This could very well turn into a sideshow, especially after The Avengers/Iron Man 3 and the next Cap and Thor films.

This film was a fairly pointless exercise. Yes I have only just seen it but there are so many things wrong with it, from the utter miscasting of Sally Field to the pointless misconsistencies from mainstream Spidey continuity. (How easy was it for people to pull his bloody mask off?) All seemingly just to make things different from the first three movies. And the first 3 films are all better than this. Fukkin Sony fukkwits. And what were Marvel playing at saying yes to this.

Negative hype has just as much effect as positive hype. I am sick of the predictions and odds lately. Creating self fulfilling prophecies. Blah!

I think Isconia are beyond caring now.

That's because they're all shit at the top Sorry but Slava is damn awful. Absolute f***ery at it's f***ety f***ing best No probs. Good song. I laughed out loud when I saw Isconia was still on 1 point. Hilarious.

Mr Tamborine Man was probably the biggest success he had on the UK charts as a songwriter. The Byrds charted a few more of his songs but details escape me. All Along the Watchtower by Jimi Hendrix Didn't Mannfred Mann have a hit with one of his tunes. Was it The Mighty Quinn?
