Looks like we're going to be last in two finals this week!

TBH I'm just happy to have reached the final. Thanks to the BJ indie wing for getting Prince Rama there.

I was listening in bed last night and my only thought was how on earth do I not rate all of them at least a ten. Rediculously high consisyency at wik here, all the way through to Biophlia and beyond. Still it should be ready by the weekend. Is that soon enough. I've still got to get BJSC done and dusted first.

You can add Slim Whitman to that list who was the record holder previous to Bryan Adams.

And to return the compliment, I think my favourite entry (other than my own) has to be Agnes Obel. Absolutely beautiful track that I was actually sitting on then you got there first!

Yeah for all of seven weeks! I entered it the first chance I got and that was BJSC 36 as it was released to youtube too late for the preceding edition.

Hmmm... probably. I can't see any other reason.

Why have people gone so mad about Daft Punk this time around. Get Lucky pales into insignificance besides any Nile Rogers produced track from the late 70s/80s. Just listen to the truly glorious Upside Down or the first four tracks from that Sister Sledge album. Still I suppose it gives old Nile another decent payday. This record is as bad/backwards looking as any bunch of lumpen fools furiously trying to recreate guitar music that will sell reconstructed from the debris of The Beatles/Britpop/postpunk. And as for the track Fragments in Time, that is just plain embarrassing.
