I am comforted by the fact that Ben (Mdice) likes my track in the face of seemingly near certain DNQ.

Oh it has elements of that but the presence of Luciana just lifts it above all that.

Certainly can't be accused of that. Love Wor. Shame I can't vote for it in the semi.

Oh and thanks to Ashton for the Luciana track. The Official video is linked to on the submitted video page so I can gawp at her for 4 minutes. Lovely.

Finally got to listen to the semi. What is that meandering crap from Eledan this month? Sure it stands out from all the faceless sub-Ibizan 90s retro dance bollox that seems to be dominating the SF but hell, it's so boring!!!!! Thank f*** for laurel is all I can say.

I don't think I have turned around on an album this much for ages. I have played it so much this last week.

Of course we can. It's called having an opinion. Doesn't mean i'm right, just what I think.

The Scientist is highly rated because it is a quite lovely piece of music unlike the absolute turds that were highly profitable they later turned out. I'm sorry but Paradise is a truly abysmal song that did not even warrant a top 20 place. Fix You is just so hideously overplayed and I found it incredibly irritating then. I'm sorry but I can only listen to empty bluster for so long and I prefer other brands of empty bluster to this.

I loved Blue Blood but I think Mankind is way better. Blue Blood was a little too much Lana-clone TBH.

I haven't heard either yet so I'll have to get on the case. There will always be a special place in Isconia for them seeing as they gave our first top ten finish.

Well Nickodonia took the track I would have sent had I not sent Laurel last month. So big points probably going that way and... BLOODY HELL!!!! I did not know Oh Land had a new track out!!!

Now that is a fantastic result. The Holy Bible is an absolutely unbelievably good album.

If The Holy Bible isn't top of the albums than this is a travesty (it'll probably be Everything Must Go tho')

Hmmm. I have listened to the album a few more times now and it is starting to make more sense. It's a different kind of Queens album (obviously down to the experiences Josh Homme has had in the last 6 years.) Really starting to like If I Had A tail.

My God is The Sun is superb (a personal chart #1) but the rest of the album is a real let-down so far yet every review so far seems to be looning over it, I just don't understand it.

I seem to be the only person in the world who is disappointed with this album. I just don't think it's a QOTSA album. A Josh Homme solo record for sure, just not The Queens (apart from My God)

I love all periods of AC/DC both with Bon Scott and Brian Johnson. Hits... Shake Your Foundations Rock and Roll Ain't Noise Pollution Money Talks That's The Way I Wanna Rock n Roll Who Made Who For Those About To Rock and of course Back In Black.
