OCC to launch Official Christian/Gospel Album Chart
No thanks. What next the spoken word chart?

United Kingdom 2013
Would NEVER happen. The BBC would rather chuck it's money at failed Saturday evening shows such as "Britain's Brightest". Let's face it..they are not interested in Eurovision. I think there is a deliberate reason for the bad results. They don't want us to win/host and are probably slowly pulling us out of it.

Bulgaria 2013
"Samo Shampioni" all the way for Bulgaria. I prefer this to "Voda" anyday. Judging how weak 2013 is, Elisa and Stoyan could better their 2007 result with this song. "Kismet"...sorry this would not work in ESC. I seem to have a Krazymir vibe with this. "Dzupaj, Libe Boso"....ballad version of "Voda" almost, the addition of the male vocalists and rapper does enhance it, but what is with the Jamaican accent? Will qualify, but could see 6 or 7 from the UK if they send this one!

I guess the sheep would be out to buy Bridgit. Crap. Just some stupid jumped up Phoney Disney Tart. See her in five years she will be like Lindsay Lohan.

Cyprus 2013
Beautiful entry from Cyprus. Gorgeous vocals and a very strong ballad. I think this is a contender for the crown. I have Johanna vibes with this.

Bridgit Mendler - Ready Or Not
Awful song. Thought this was by Cher Lloyd! Just cheap, tacky and immature song. Obviously the sheep will buy it. I will go #15-20. Will fall out of tge chart a week later.

EastEnders · VIII
Nothing ever happens in this soap. Surely with Max bed-hopping with Tanya and Kirsty he must have chalymedia or AIDS? Is anything good going to happen or shall I leave it until December?

Acts with a non top 75/100 career in singles and albums?
Perhaps merge both? Heard Loose Chippings first song "Girls Gone Naughty".....what a load of crap!!! Loose Scrubbers more like it lol

WHO? Never heard of them lol.

United Kingdom 2013
Kim Wilde - In 1993 yes, in fact she was asked to do it in 1994....she said no. I think she'd have beaten "Rock N Roll Kids" easily. However, now would not be right. She's a bit old. Ditto Bonnie Tyler. Her voice is not as a good as it was back in the 80s and 90s. If it is a power ballad....we came 5th last time round with one so it could be good news. Why not someone semi-famous? Birdy maybe? or that one who sang the KFC song two years ago "We are one big family"? Gabrielle Climi is a possibility - something like "Defender" could go top 5 in Eurovision.

Acts with a non top 75/100 career in singles and albums?
Have there been any artists who have had 100% non top 75/100 singles and album chart careers. Natalia Kills does spring to mind, but her previous guise as Verbalicious gave her top 15.

Songs you thought got to #1...
Another example: Rihanna and Eminem - "Love The Way You lie"

Seriously...why has Florida got a contract? Nothing but a gimmick artist for drunk idiots. "No Freedom" by Dido #79 = Thought this would at least make the top 40. Still there is always the album.

The year you started to watch Eurovision
1993 was my first time when I was 8. I had no idea what it was until Sonia had her pre selection in 1993 for the UK. I only remember my parents wanting "Better The Devil You Know" winning as that was the most Eurovision friendly song. I became a bit of an ESC loon in 2002 following national finals. 2007 has to be the worst contest. Me and an ex guessed all points correctly and most of it was a fag break. Since last year my interest is not the same. I feel now the contest has a lack of identity and with most songs in English and hiring rent a Swede composers...its not the same. I am watching 2013 but as your average member of the public not as a fan.

Sadly, this seems to be a way with a lot of artists. I think another reason is a flat-lining economy and caring about fame is their way to success. To these acts it's not about the music at all. If the Sats were bona-fide - they'd accept flop albums, #38 singles and the rest.

Olly Murs - Army of Two
I think this is his weakest single - even weaker than "Oh My Goodness". Shame for him :( Olly rate: 1 Heart on my Sleeve - Why the hate for this?? Should have been #1 2 Troublemaker 3 Heart Skips A Beat 4 Thinking Of Me 5 Please Don't Let Me Go 6 Busy (All of the above great) OK 7 Dance With Me Tonight - Sick of Heart playing this to death Meh 8 Oh My Goodness Shit 9 Army of Two

The Saturdays should forget cracking America. Why not Europe? Germany, Italy, France, Sweden even the Netherlands have lucrative markets. Plus Asia - Thailand/Korea and the like LOVE pop music!! It does seem they've been too fake and artificial and their singles are getting worse. Hiring Sean Paul is desperation and the biggest sell-out ever. I hope people see sense and don't buy it so it punishes them. The girls died in my eyes after "30 Days".

Chris Huhne/Eastleigh by-election
Would love both the Tories and Lib Dumbs to have a bloody nose in this by-election. Thankfully the Tories will suffer. Prediction: 1 Orange Tories 2/3/4 anything between UKIP, Labour and the Tories 5/6 Health Action/TUSC To be honest, the coalition is dying. Both parties are losing their key supporters base - the Tories are alienating themselves from the electorate even more with the bedroom tax and now the AAA rating being downgraded. Ed Millband has found his feet, and is showing that he is a strong leader and the next PM. Although Labour are not perfect and have some liablities in the party e.g Liam Byrne - they're the safest and best option to lead this country out of the mess we are in.

Songs you thought got to #1...
Cher - "If I Could Turn Back Time" Adele - "Chasing Payments" Nicole Scherzinger - "Poison" That song that is called "Heartbroken"....was about 2007/8 and played on mobiles in every bus/train/metro/underground route in the land at the time.

Do you like lots of different types of music?
My main genres are: Pop - mainly girlband stuff such through the ages from the Supremes and the Shirlettes to now with Little Mix. Eurodance - Cascada, Alexandra Stan and Inna with some 90s stuff thrown in - that was the golden era. Rock - Mainly the power rock of the 80s and 90s..and some heavy metal. Soul/Urban/R and B - I LOVE THE 90S URBAN/R AND B!!! These songs will never get old! Throw in some rap too but mainly UK acts such as The Streets, Professor Green. Country, opera, classical - all has their charms :) Music is a big banquet - why not sample all delights?

Melodi Grand Prix 2013
I'm probably in a minority here, but I find it underwhelming aside from the chorus. Margaret will get a decent result in Malmo for Norway but that's it. "Bombo" - the girl can not sing.....but it's OK in studio. I think the entry which would have been a decent choice for the Norwegians would have been "Det er du" by Tom Hugo. Could get top 10 in a weak year like this. 2013 - out of what I've heard so far...only Germany has grabbed me. Very bad year this year. Hopefully Anouk will not disappoint :-)
