That is bad. Also releasing New Years week is NOT advisable. I think radio stations needs to be adventorous, but again if they're own by big corporations....not gonna happen. The chart is democratic in one way, but not in another.

Well put :) At the end of the day, there has to be some limit where a song "dies" in the charts. You could do with some major shake-up to how the charts are compiled. Perhaps some limit rule which "promote" songs or have some back-up panel that votes on all songs, and the winner of that pile gets a chart position?

Who is buying "Sex on Fire" and "Chasing Cars"? surely everyone has a copy still. Needs to be a limit imposed. Hope James Arthur gets another week at the top. Don't want that Britney abomination getting there.
