As discussed yesterday - these guys had the most accurate prediction in 2019 and are not to be taken lightly. I'd trust their output more than most over pollsters. I think other posters - especially YouGov - are completely underestimating just how unpopular this Conservative party and government is among the general population. Did you watch Romania v Ukraine? They wouldn't be a guaranteed 3-0 victory. Far from it, even if Belgium did beat them 2-0.

Either the Netherlands as Group D third place or any of the 4 teams in group E that are all tied on 3 points (Romania, Belgium, Slovakia or Ukraine). I'm not sure how you actually figure out the other groups don't come into play but that's the answer.

I only watched the first half so I'll only comment on that. They were extremely crap. Managed to squeak out of an easy group by winning 1 match out of 3. We can only look at the positives though - we're in the bottom half of the draw and will avoid the bigger nations until the final (France / Portugal / Germany / Spain). Worst case is facing Italy in the Quarter Finals However whoever we get in the R of 16 is going to test the team far more than any of the group stage matches. If I worked this out correctly then we either get the Netherlands from Group D or one of Romania / Belgium / Slovakia / Ukraine from Group E (all tied on 3 points). None of those teams are going to be push overs. Whilst it will work in our favour being a 24 team tournament I do think it should either go back to 16 teams or extend to 32 teams with only the Top 2 teams going through - this best losers crap rewards some very mediocre outfits with knockout places they don't really deserve.

Nice to see Limp Bizkit, Motorhead and High Flying Birds make an appearance and getting some credit. All great bands that could have ended up on my list if I did it another day. Not going to defend it but you do see the difference between betting on something you're prime minister decides and betting on an election result the public decides? I'm more surprised bookies were even willing to offer him odds on losing giving how safe that seat is.
