I'm still not going to believe the wipe-out until we actually see it despite the polls. The tories getting less than 200 seats would be great to see but I'm not sure I buy it yet.

So apparently the largest winning margin at Euros is 5 goals - which is quite remarkable when you consider the world cup has 9 goals as the largest winning margin. Would be nice to see that record broken this championship with a 6-0 or even a 7-0. Also interesting that Scotland's goal stopped their match joining the list. Guess there's more chance of uneven match up at the world cup.

So things all get going this evening with the 1am kick off for the first match between Argentina and Canada. 42 Premier League players will be playing in the competition. Messi makes the Argentinian squad. Argentina are look to make it their 3rd consecutive major tournament on the trot (following a 2021 Copa America win and their 2022 World Cup win). Can Brazil return to form and get their first major tournament. Or will a different country take the trophy? The PL has helpfully published the squad lists. The tournament is being held in the US and is being seen as somewhat a test event for the 2026 World Cup.

Another great game. There's just something special about international games that you don't get with the club football.

Croatia v Albania has 'first 0-0' of the tournament written all over it. I'd be surprised if they make many attempts on target between them.

So now we've seen all the teams play - who do we think are going to be the winners? Looks like Germany are favourites to me. France will be affected by Mbappe's absence quite heavily. Spain should do quite well and Romania look like the dark horses with a possible semi in line for them.

I just took it to be a broad term that could encompass both pop groups (boy bands, girl bands etc) and indie/alternative/classic rock etc bands in the more traditional meaning of the term. I.e as set out by Gezza in the OP if there's more one member but it isn't a duet. Although given Buzzjack is a site centred around the chart - you'd expect more successful chart acts - especially pop - to do better than other bands.

Quite a few here I'd have expected to be much higher in the lists. Queens of the Stone Age, The Strokes and The Animals most notably. I didn't realise Ghost had had a Top 40 hit - would have been in contention had I checked more thoroughly. Their better songs didn't chart though.

Looks like we'll be getting a goal in every first round of group match bar a surprise from the Portugal v Czech Republic match. Wonder what the odds would have been on that.
