The best way to celebrate the 100th anniversary edition would have been to hold the whole tournament in Uruguay imo. I'm sure this was an option at one point. Failing that it should have been in the home nations. I'd not be surprised to see the US decline to host 2038 and other continents including South America and Europe being allowed to bid on. I suppose we'll find out in the next few years. Let's be honest though it'll go to whoever has the deepest pockets.

I'd normally bash the low overnight rating but perspective needed here with the Euros being on ITV means it was always going to be the lowest rated episode of the series.
