  1. It's a joke because people aren't streaming songs you like?
  2. Not much of an impact for Benson Boone's album. Just the 4 songs in the Top 200. 2. Beautiful Things 26. Slow It Down 109. In The Stars 142. Cry
  3. There's an article in yesterdays guardian about this (well on their site anyway)- the declining viewing figures is starting to hit budgets for new music videos which is why were getting so many cheaper to make visualizers these days. It's sad but like all trends the world moves on. If people aren't watching them then there's not much point making them.
  4. Looks like Hozier is starting to pull away from Benson Boone now.
  5. To be fair if those songs weren't on ACR we'd be complaining about the chart becoming stale.
  6. Not for much longer given the government will likely stop them operating, following suit from the US. Will be interesting to see what drives hits after that.
  7. I really hope this trend doesn't dominate the charts in the way some genres have done in the past. While it's nice to have a few more country-rock/folk songs in the chart a lot of the songs in that style heading for the chart are a bit rubbish. If we're going to have rock back in the chart. I'd much rather it be a heavier in tone than what's around at the minute with a lot frankly forgettable songs.
  8. +5 Beautiful Things - Benson Boone +4 TEXAS HOLD 'EM - Beyonce +3 Stick Season - Noah Kahan +2 Lovin' On Me - Jack Harlow +1 Murder On The Dancefloor - Sophie Ellis-Bextor -1 Cruel Summer - Taylor Swift -2 greedy - Tate McRae -3 yes, and? - Ariana Grande -4 Lose Control - Teddy Swims -5 Prada - casso, RAYE & D-Block Europe
  9. Nice to see the Hozier track doing well, but I really don't see it stopping Taylor when the time comes.
  10. Yeah, it helps if you're actually comparing a bands music to their own music doesn't it. In my defence they do sound kinda similar.
  11. This does absolutely nothing for me, but I've never really been on board with their change in style except for Heathens.
  12. Maybe not flash-in-the-pan but I don't think it'll top the charts for long if does top them. It might get a week or two at number one. I just don't think it's gonna be a long-lasting hit like Stick Season as some in this thread are suggesting. On a better note - at least it looks as though we're going to have a few competitive weeks at the top with Benson Boone, Hozier, Artemis and Taylor once she drops all in with a shot of taking the No 1 spot. After a relatively long period of pretty guessable No 1s that's good.
  13. That Hozier track might be gaining momentum now - in two weeks time it could easily be losing that momentum, giving Swift a good chance to get the No 1 album and single both here and in the US. Nobody's in the same stratosphere as her in terms of reliable shifting units and that's going to be completely evident in a few weeks. I find it laughable anyone thinks a flash in the pan Hozier song is gonna even contend with the GOAT.
  14. I just can't see a Hozier track doing anywhere near the numbers required to compete with a Swift lead single. I don't see it happening.
  15. At this point in her domination you'd have to class anything less than US No 1 single and album and UK No 1 single and album as a disappointment for new material from her.
  16. Like That - Future, Metro Boomin and Kendrick Lamar. I think some of the other tracks on that album diss him as well.
  17. I'd be astounded if she didn't get No 1 Single and No 1 album when she releases.
  18. It's TikTok - as always these days when chart stats look a bit too good for the artist.
  19. # I've noticed this as well. Comes on all the time.
  20. Not really liking this - I've been on a run of liking her new releases but I just can't feel any spark with this one.
  21. Will she be releasing a interview about how wasteful all the electricity used for billboard advertising is?
  22. It was played out on Greatest Hits Radio over the Easter Weekend so it made sense to exclude Christmas songs and Three Lions (although given that only gets streamed on matchdays I'm not convinced it'd be in the Top 300). Surely Christmas songs generally only being played for one month of the year and others being played for 12 months would mean not many would need to be excluded anyway.
  23. Awesome to see Hozier challenging for top spot. Good to see Artemis up. Shame to see the dreadful Belong Together climb.
  24. I'm not going to be getting any physical versions of this but it will be a day one stream for me, like I'm sure many other people. I get it's just the way she works these days but I find it disappointing Taylor hasn't put out a single for this. I know she definitely doesn't need to do so but it would have been a good way to build hype for the album.
