It's the principle, they shouldn't have to skip songs. I remember the one week The Other Tribe charted with 'Skirts', R1 had to play a much condensed version, then the song didn't get its exposure on the chart. I'm as sick of Let Her Go as the next man, but no competition is more important than playing songs on the chart, after all it is the chart show... not the Radio 1 Competition Show feat. some music.

Vance Joy's Twitter suggests that Fearne played it yesterday. If that's all it took to get it to jump into the T100, then fingers crossed for it being playlisted. Also, +1 to all the new dance releases coming out over the next few weeks. I reckon Fatboy Slim/Calvin will just miss out next week, but Martin Garrix, Harris/Alesso/Hurts, and Bastille are almost all surefire #1's.

Heard it today on his channel, this is actually pretty good! Then I heard that 'Level Up' song by Sway, can honestly say I'd forgotten that ever going T10/ever existing.

Counting Stars has transformed in the last fortnight from a Burn-type #1 which is sort of just, there... now it's approaching Blurred Lines/Get Lucky levels where the song is literally EVERYWHERE.
