If James Arthur beats Lorde to #1, I may just give up on the general music buying public.

It's moving onto the A-list next week too, I actually think it could be Top 10 at the least!

'not too bad?'

When all the members of The Beatles are gone and they start re-releasing their catalogue a la Elvis, I wonder how high Hey Jude will get. +1 to Adele's QE2 ballad.

Hell yes to The 1975 and Martin Garrix being added, delighted that Wilkinson and Lorde are now A-list... ...but utterly confused that Western Disco have been dropped from the C-list. Western Disco, Showtek, Storm Queen, Slim/Starr/Harris, Martin Garrix and Wilkinson were going to have the big 6 dance tunes this autumn, very odd.

If we add Bieber into the mix, then by potentially dumping C&S out of the T10 we really do have the worst Top 10 of the year on our hands. Unpopular opinion I know, but Talk Dirty and Can We Dance are awful, I see absolutely nothing remarkable in the new songs by Miley, Conor, The Saturdays or Bieber, and the new entries by Eminem and John Newman are disappointing compared to previous releases. I would take 11-20 over 1-10 in a heartbeat.

I'd buy it again if I could. Step is a wonderful song

C&S aside, what an absolutely dreadful T10 :puke2:

Oh I hope so, totally and utterly in love with that song

Huge yes for Robert DeLong and especially Phoenix - 'Entertainment', bizarrely Entertainment became the song that reminded me most of my first year at uni! ^_^ Just want to throw the following into the mix: Jacob Banks - Worthy IoIaOKg4Otw Mikill Pane - Good Feeling wtM8Nc_Wd6I Purity Ring - Fineshrine Xqw4wo8vdY8 FIDLAR - Awkward gEpNPV-dCIQ

Lorde and Gotye are Alternative. Kings of Leon and RAtM are Rock. Coldplay are Pop-Rock. Sorted ;)

+5 Macklemore & Ryan Lewis feat. Mary Lambert - Same Love +4 Avicii feat. Aloe Blacc - Wake Me Up +3 Avicii - You Make Me +2 Drake feat. Majid Jordan - Hold On, We're Going Home +1 Ben Pearce - What I Might Do -1 Ellie Goulding - Burn -2 Katy Perry - Roar -3 OneRepublic - Counting Stars -4 Jason Derulo feat. 2 Chainz - Talk Dirty -5 Jessie J - It's My Party

I wish R1 wouldn't cut off the end of the video, that's where 50% of the message is...

Is that the reason that when The Other Tribe - Skirts first charted in the lower ends of the T40 with little airplay, it didn't get played on the chart and then dropped out the next week? If so... grrr <_<

Wake Me Up is regrowing on me due to overuse at my uni and on various nights out. Not that I'm complaining

Turn It Around  This should have gone T40. Love, love, LOVE that song.

Yeah... that advert for 'Atlantis' before this song had more musical integrity. Ugh.

Haha... 'beat off'.

A second week for CHVRCHES??? Oh yes

"5- IN THIS CITY- Iglu & Hartly (18,978)" Did this peak at #5? Can't believe it was so high, what a forgotten beaut of a song. meanwhile, ugh at 'Other Side of Love'. This makes it in but CC's don't...

What suggests that Thicke has made it and not CC? :(

Wait, so there's a 'Can We Dance - Single' and a 'Can We Dance - EP'? That's allowed?

Definitely the wrong route to take for Lana. Any new fans will think she's a dance artist (also known as 'the Sia effect').

If it's anything like 'Skirts', I'm downloading it right away

No. Ben Pearce should be higher.
