  1. Best: LM5 Standard (although GD Platinum Edition is a close second) Worst: LM5 Deluxe Howwww did they get it so wrong for the Deluxe?? If they do opt for a re-release, then I really hope they rectify the cover a la 'Glory Days'.
  2. Black Magic. Iconic era.
  3. Wings Wings DNA
  4. I love every song left, but it's gotta be 'Salute' for me.
  5. Get Weird DNA DNA
  6. DNA obv. LMLY is sublime.
  7. CYL Wings CYL
  8. I really hope so; she lost me with 'Prism' slightly, but I actually enjoyed the 'Witness' era (hell, I even adored 'Swish Swish', video aside). The album was admittedly awful (except the title track and 'Roulette'), but she was never much of an album act anyway.
  9. Watched it earlier today. Jade laughing at Ed Balls falling over was hilarious and the group chanting Leigh-Anne's name made me tear up slightly. Any chance of them performing tonight?
  10. 'Forget You Not' as the first single (replacing 'Only You' in the summer) 'The Cure' as the lead (It's not my favourite track but it'd undoubtedly sell albums). 'Monster in Me' (winter single a la SLS) 'Wasabi' (May/June release like 'Hair' and 'Power'). 'Think About Us' if they opted for a fifth. And none for WLM. x Honestly, it just saddens me to think about. I didn't think it'd come to this after how expertly executed the Glory Days era was.
  11. I would've said 'Move' was their most universally liked but even that got a mention here.

Haha of course I am, it's still a decent track -- it's just one of my least favourite of theirs in a really stellar singles discography. Really impressive it's managed Gold after its short stint in the top 40.
  13. Can DNA pls vacate now? I'm on my 7th round of voting for it.
  14. Mess. It's hard to be annoyed about it underperforming when their team seem so intent in tanking it any way possible. The stark contrast between this and the treatment NMSS got when it was struggling (constant discount, #1 on Hot Hits) is telling.

I actually just listened to all the extended versions up to Diamond and Pearl (including all the original season tracks like 'Viridian City') on a long car journey yesterday. So here for this. 11 Indigo League (this still gives me chills 20 years on) 08 Adventures on the Orange Islands 10 The Johto Journeys 09 Johto League Champions 10 Master Quest 07 Advanced 07 Advanced Challenge 10 Advanced Battle (massive bop) 05 Battle Frontier 02 Diamond & Pearl 06 Battle Dimension 02 Galactic Battles 03 Sinnoh League Victors 03 Black & White 04 Rival Destinies 04 XY (why butcher the original tho) 03 Kalos Quest 06 XYZ -1 Sun & Moon (absolutely not) 00 Ultra Adventure (????) I've never seen a single episode beyond 'Advanced Battle', so I'm not sure if it's nostalgia clouding my judgment, but they sound largely horrific from Diamond and Pearl onwards.

This is actually not awful. It's still pretty bland but not offensively so like her recent output. 11 Right Here 05 Real Love 04 Hold My Hand 08 Don't Be So Hard On Yourself 06 Take Me Home 06 Ain't Got Far To Go 04 I'll Be There 04 All I Am 01 Thursday 07 No One 08 Rather Be 10 My Love 05 Not Letting Go 07 These Days I'm kind of in awe at just how vanilla she became after the 1-2 punch of 'My Love' and 'Right Here'. She'll never top the latter for me.
  17. Change Your Life (their X Factor journey is iconic so 'Cannonball' gets a pass) Cannonball Cannonball
  18. Mostly the R Kelly Instagram situation and her outright refusal to apologise or even acknowledge the criticism directed her way. She strikes me as rather tone deaf and her social media presence is just... off-putting. I do think Rossco's 'lack of singing talent' is unwarranted though; she's a talented vocalist now that she's improved her technique and stopped with the excessive vibrato.:lol: This thread is certainly a trip.
  19. Gotta echo this. I loved her during The X Factor and I think she was instrumental in endearing the public to them -- and her brashness & general nonchalance do make me laugh at times -- but she hasn't remained as down to earth as the other three. Her recent antics haven't helped matters. Her vocals were also nigh-on unlistenable at times during the first era with the excessive vibrato, especially on DNA and 'How Ya Doin'. Luckily she's improved in that aspect. On the contrary, I'd say Perrie is most likeable member (I've noticed she seems to get lumped in with Jesy a lot). She doesn't get nearly enough credit for just how insane and consistent her vocals are. Also, I'm happy they opted for 'Think About Us' over 'Strip'. I don't doubt that the latter would've performed better (although it still wouldn't have smashed), but I don't find it a particularly great song and I'm glad it's not part of their single discography.

I heard this twice on Friday and the hook's been stuck in my head since. It's even more infectious than Sweet But Psycho and frustratingly so. I don't even like the song.
  21. I didn't even consider that! As much as I love the album, this is absolutely the right move. This campaign needs salvaged, and if TAU bombed as hard as it has, then I can't see any of the remaining tracks making much of an impact now. Poor 'Wasabi' and 'Forget You Not'; I'm certain they would have smashed if they were released during the GD era.
  22. DNA pls.
  23. Not me regaining internet access only to find out that this has completely bombed out of the Spotify top 100. That's truly dreadful. I think the fact that it was fully reliant on Hot Hits and its dismal iTunes performance shows that it just wasn't resonating with the public, which is a little worrisome since it's sonically very similar to their GD singles. That said, the Capital snub certainly hasn't helped; I imagine a lot of the GP still aren't even aware of its existence.
  24. Reggaeton Lento and Think About Us are both mega-bops. The former in particular is one of their most underrated.
  25. Wow, ya’ll really hate this era huh? This landslide for TAU is so unwarranted. I imagine it’d be held in higher regard if it was smashing. Opted for DNA again. I was never keen and it’s aged badly.
