AF IDOL 2.0: ROUND 6 • R E F L E C T I O N
Kylie and Girls Aloud/Nicola had no right going through with those choices, especially at the expense of 'Motivation'. Both songs were rancid. Take That/Robbie still being in is kind of iconic tho.

AF Idol 2 • Little Mix Discussion
I'm still in support of either 'Monster in Me' or 'Towers', and I'm very curious as to what the majority thinks in regards to those two. I don't dislike 'Love Me or Leave Me' or 'These Four Walls', but I find both a bit insipid and melodically lacking (particularly the latter – I can barely remember how it goes and Salute is probably one of my most listened albums of all time).

Oh wait... Your Love isn't a bad shout either. Didn't realise that was even eligible.

Yeah, I stand by SLS Pt II being the only one that wouldn't get them eliminated. Their other options are... not ideal. These A.D.I.D.A.S noms... ya'll serious?

Oooh, I always figured it was combined sales! I hope it manages to avoid ACR — it still feels like it has a bit of life in it yet.

Break Up Song • OUT NOW
 Was hoping they’d at least discount it this week to avoid ACR. Am I right in saying it needs to increase in sales next week to stay on SCR? I’m not nearly as clued up on the chart rules as I used to be.

AF IDOL 2.0: ROUND 5 • V O T E
1) Dua Lipa - Swan Song 2) Zara Larsson - This One's For You (w/ David Guetta) 3) Little Mix - Bounce Back 4) Taylor Swift - I Don't Wanna Live Forever (w/ ZAYN) 5) Calvin Harris - Hype (w/ Dizzee Rascal) 6) Ellie Goulding - First Time (w/ Kygo) 7) Kylie Minogue - All I See 8) Lady Gaga - LoveGame 9) Katy Perry - Rise ------ 10) Britney Spears - Pretty Girls (feat. Iggy Azalea) 11) Beyoncé - Video Phone (feat. Lady Gaga) 12) P!nk - There You Go 13) Ariana Grande - Beauty And The Beast (feat. John Legend) 14) Girls Aloud - I Think We're Alone Now 15) Madonna - Bitch I'm Madonna 16) Robbie Williams - Rudebox 17) Rihanna - FourFiveSeconds (w/ Kanye West & Sir Paul McCartney) 18) Spice Girls - Mama Bit of an iconic round. Some tracks are so much worse than I remember (hello Rihanna/Girls Aloud), but generally the playlist wasn't a horrible listen. It was my first exposure to the P!nk/Robbie/Madonna entries, but I don't think I'll be in a hurry to re-listen. 'Mama' is and always has been naueseatingly trite.

I think the ill will towards it has subsided a little now that BUS has proven that it didn't completely tank their career.

AF Idol 2.0 | Zara Larsson Discussion
I actually love the last two. I think DLMBY is the stronger song but can't see it inspiring too many votes.

I don't even particularly dislike 'Rise', but 'Con Calma' is a bop.

AF Idol 2.0: Dua Lipa Discussion
Swan Song and Lost In Your Light are both really good tracks. Dua got very lucky with this round.

AF Idol 2 • Little Mix Discussion
Yeah, I initially thought Little Me, but it's just so MOR and possibly too safe to provoke any votes. Bounce Back, for all its faults, is at least somewhat of a bop. The caliber of tracks is obviously going to be a lot lower, so I think it stands a decent enough chance.

Little Mix - Bounce Back
@1262724275561086977 It isn't actually Normani, but interesting nonetheless. The lyric revision in LM's version are definitely for the best. Screaming at the instrumental section being even more wretched than the finished product though. Just WHY?

Harry Styles - Adore You

Daisies • Second Single
I love this track. The chorus melody doesn’t seem particularly memorable at first, but whew, the way it creeps up on you. It’s been stuck in my head since Friday. It’s such an easy listen, and above all, it just feels so authentically Katy. It’d be nice to see it become a cute hit for her, but I don’t think it particularly matters at this point.

Ariana Grande - Break Free (feat. Zedd) Britney Spears - Stronger Dua Lipa - Hallucinate Ellie Goulding - Figure 8 Harry Styles - Adore You Katy Perry - Chained to the Rhythm (feat. Skip Marley) Lady Gaga - Paparazzi Little Mix - Salute Taylor Swift - Wildest Dreams Zara Larsson - All The Time

Daisies • Second Single
Aww, I really like this. I agree with the 'Don't Leave Me Alone' comparisons. I always inexplicably liked that in all its basic glory (and in spite of Anne Marie). It's nowhere near the heights of 'Never Really Over' or even '365', but it's a return to form after 'Small Talk'. (Also, the third 'DAISES' is hilarious and so infectious).

Confetti • 6th Album
It's 100% Charlie Puth.:lol: The fact they never even performed 'Oops' on tour despite it being the most well-known GDs album track speaks volumes.

Loool at 'Salute' effectively being another warehouse video (except the last section). I really wish their videography was stronger. Songs like 'Touch' and SLS (and low-key TAU) really don't deserve the MVs they're lumbered with. Also, scream at the drive-by Beyoncé drag. 2014 me was bold.

AF IDOL 2.0 | Katy Perry Discussion Thread
I’ve never really delved into Katy’s album tracks much, but I did give Witness a few spins when it was released and ‘Roulette’ has featured on every one of my playlists since. It’s such a massive bop (and also sonically similar to the songs that are big at the moment, which might go in its favour).

Break Up Song • OUT NOW
 Mess. It's just an odd time in general for streaming. I notice that it's mostly the tracks that are high up on the Spotify-curated playlists that are behaving erratically. The fact that folk aren't commuting/having social gatherings and just sticking on Hot Hits is bound to have an impact. There was probably some element of a video effect influencing their position the past few days too.
