  1. 'Came Here For Love' was huge though in fairness. I'd take a top 20 peak and decent longevity at this point.
  2. Yeah it’s not ideal, but all the histrionics about how it’s ‘bombed’ after 1 week (not here, but elsewhere) are wayyy too premature. I still think this’ll be a decent-sized top 10 hit.
  3. Meh, that’s roughly where I expected when the first midweeks were revealed. Shame we were all so off with our original predictions, but I think everyone was expecting a lot more hype around this.

Their name shows up fine on the mobile app, which I imagine most people use anyway.
  5. :cheer: Really should’ve been there from the offset but better late than never. Good to see Radio 1 on board too!
  6. Yeah after rinsing this for a week, I'd consider it a nice enough track but nowhere near the quality of the GD singles. That being said, it sounds incredible in the sun and I'd be genuinely surprised if it doesn't take off, despite the unusually slow start. Here's hoping R1 add it tomorrow.
  7. #122 on Spotify... so that's something. When does Hot Hits usually update?
  8. Really? I’ve yet to hear it on radio. Have Capital been spinning it?
  9. Yeah, the sheer indifference has been kind of appalling. No Spotify playlist support, no radio interviews — hell, R1 still haven’t even given it a spin. I’m sorta’ wishing they hadn’t bothered, because regardless of whether this takes off or not, it’s still going to detract hype from the LM5 lead.

Nah, they've always done a lot better on sales than streaming. SOTME obviously smashed it due to the comeback hype/X Factor, as did Touch, but a lot of their singles struggled to go top 10 (Power/SLS) or even top 20 (Hair/NMSS/LMLY) on Spotify.
  11. Christ that’s absolutely awful. I was expecting ~#50 but only just making the top 100 is dire. I know they’ll climb eventually but I was expecting a strong debut on name alone.
  12. Yeah I’m surprised it hasn’t gone higher given how poor sales are, but there’s been shockingly little hype surrounding it given that it’s a LM ‘comeback’ single. I know it’ll climb and inevitably be a hit in the end, but I hope their actual lead has a bit more of an immediate impact a la BM/SOTME.
  13. According to their twitter, they've played it a few times today!
  14. Yeah, the response to this has been oddly muted. I wasn't expecting R1 to playlist it right away since they're always a little slow with LM singles, but not even giving a spin after hyping it up as part of their entertainment news the past few days is a bit questionable. And that NMF position is just unforgivable (below a Bebe bloody Rexha album track.).
  15. Of course. It could be another RL vs 'Friends' situation though, where the girls overtake him relatively quickly.
  16. He sings with them on the chorus! :) (edit: actually, he's present from the second verse onwards).
  17. It's more upbeat than I was expecting! It's basic but it's very instant -- it reminds me a lot of 'Anywhere'.
  18. New snippet on their Twitter! It's a lot slower than I was anticipating, but I imagine it'll pick up towards the drop. Leigh-Anne sounds incredible.
  19. This is tacky as hell and I unashamedly love it. Ranking: 1) Sweet Lovin' 2) Feels Like Home 3) Don't Need No Money 4) Came Here For Love 5) Show You Love 6) Give Me Your Love 7) Lullaby 8) Say You Do 9) Ain't Giving Up 10) Easy Love (I've never heard 'Only One').
  20. Oh, my bad if that's the case! Yeah, I'm not expecting anything groundbreaking but I imagine it'll still be a bop. When should we expect to hear this? I'm assuming it'll be on NZ Spotify first, so around 1pm tomorrow?
  21. There's a decent enough song in there somewhere, but that sample is wayyyy too jarring for it to be enjoyable. I could barely even focus on the lyrics because of how prominent it is.
  22. Odd criticism. I'd say most of their songs are undeniably Little Mix. I even hear 'this sounds like a LM song' banded around a lot across forums. Besides, a dance collab is hardly indicative of the soundscape of LM5 (see: just about every other artist that's featured on a DJ's track).
  23. Cheat Codes have posted a snippet on their Twitter (I have no idea how to embed tweets ). Jade sounds amazing! Edit: oops, beaten!
  24. ‘Stand Down’ is a bop tho.
  25. Yeah, I seen that video the other day and thought the same re. their picks being absolutely dismal. For me, it'll always be: 1) Don't Let Go 2) E.T. 3) I'm Like a Bird 4) Superbass and a toss-up between 'If I Were a Boy' and 'You Got the Love' in 5th. Oh and on another note, 'How Ya Doin' got chosen by Chris Stark for the 'bangers' segment on R1. It didn't get picked by the listener (ofc) but it was nice to see at least someone outside of here remembering it exists. Truly their most underrated single, it still seriously bops!
