Yeah, Little Me's video was grim. The song's cute but dull and the video did absolutely nothing to assuage that. No wonder everyone considers it their most boring release. Oh 100%. The suggestion otherwise honestly has me baffled.

Considering the other competing acts and the relatively unrestricted theme, then I feel WLM would 100% get them eliminated. BUS has been much better received across the board.

Zte1KtYNx6Y Literally what were you you all expecting?? Cut them some slack. Also hard disagree re the last point. I think it's incredibly solid given the circumstances and a lot more fleshed out than I anticipated. The concept of a morning TV show is actually really clever and I love how they incorporated the self-recorded footage as a 'performance'. I wouldn't even consider it their worst video when CYL, Little Me, SLS and TAU all exist. At least something happened in this one. Edit: So I've read that this was essentially a recreation of their original concept for the MV. I think that would've been amazing if it came to fruition, but this is still a really good substitute.

I'm wondering if it's because it wasn't responding well to the increased exposure? Either way, 1 day on the top is a bit bizarre. There's probaly going to be a reshuffle tonight anyway, so here's hoping they're moved up again.

Ooh, I wasn't expecting a whole lot but I actually like the look of this. It seems fun if nothing else. I hope folk that were inexplicably dragging Jesy for not adhering to the 80s theme will eat their words now. She looks amazing.

Voted! Easy inclusion for me this round.

The video release does seem a bit drawn out at this point. My expectations are low, but I wish they'd put something out. Their charisma alone will likely elevate it (like the 'Hair' video, which has one of the best replay values despite being pretty unspectacular).

Yeah, 'Move' is pretty much unanimously liked. Definitely better to save it for the later rounds!

I suggested SOTME too and this was my exact thought process! It's pretty polarising, but I feel it still has to be represented in some way as their biggest seller/one of their signature songs.

Not this looking to finally take off on Spotify only to drop to its lowest position yet (#42). :nocheer: Cominng for that delayed ‘Bounce Back’ chart run! (I kid. Hopefully.)

1) Break Up Song 2) Move 3) SOTME 4) Black Magic 5) WLM 6) Wings Iconic bunch tbh. The only one I don't revisit from time to time is 'Wings'.

Confetti • 6th Album
Legit though ― Anne-Marie and will.i.am are my personal NIGHTMARE. Only Sean Paul and Stormzy have been inspired picks (and Missy on HYD, for all it made a difference). I guess Nicki Minaj was a good coup for them since they'd been dying to work with her since the first era, but she's absolutely loathsome and her rap goes on for wayyy too long. Also, as much as I bop to Only You, why they were colloborating with Cheat Codes for all acts coming off the back of their imperial phase is beyond me.

Little Mix - Bounce Back
My stance on BB is pretty much the same it's always been. A catchy and decent enough track until the cheap-ass sounding middle 8 kicks in and destroys any goodwill I have towards it. It's a shame, because I do think there's some flashes of brilliance; Jesy's opening verse in particular is brilliant and I really like the 'say, who gonna send my way' pre-chorus. My main issue is that it was stupidly redundant and just a colossal misfire for such a crucial juncture in their career. I don't doubt that if they hadn't released it (and One I've Been Missing, but no one remembers that anyway ), BUS probably would've got a lot more instant support off the bat. The way they forced BB down the public's throats was relentless.

The Steve Void remix pops off a bit, huh? LOVE the pre-chorus. Fantastic to see this remaining stable. It may not be a massive smash like their previous leads, but the circumstances are immensely different and it's a nice little course correction after the previous misfires. My main concern was it bombing out the charts and impacting airplay/playlisting for the subsequent singles, so it's nice that it's shaping up to be a cute hit to kick off the era. That said, I really hope they go all out with the promo on single 2 to compensate.

Perpetually underrated BOP. I'm still salty at their label for dropping the remix mid-week and scuppering its chances at a high peak.

Final Round • Least Favourite Album Survivor
I've already posted my thoughts on GD, so gotta' be LM5 for me. It's an incredibly solid album that was done so dirty by the single choices (similar story for 'Salute', actually). I know for a lot of people it doesn't contain the same highs as GDs, but FYN, 'Wasabi' and 'Monster In Me' are all peak Little Mix imo.

I'm praying we get a BUS performance tonight purely so we can witness Jade kill that middle 8 live. Whew, what a career highlight.

'Glory Days: Platinum Edition' • 4th Album • Part II
As much as 'Oops' would've smashed (and low-key did off the back of a 1 minute X Factor performance), I'm glad they didn't bother. It would've undoubtedly outsold NMSS, but it would've been a blemish on an otherwise perfect singles run. It's obvious the girls aren't a fan either -- it still makes me laugh that they paid it dust on tour.

ROUND 3 • Album Survivor
I missed the last vote but glad GW was eliminated. I liked a few of the album tracks at the time, but the singles are really the only saving grace for me now and definitely the only tracks I'd bother revisiting. I swithered between Salute and GDs for this one but ultimately went for the latter. It obviously contains their absolute career highs, but we're voting on overall package and the lows are so irredeemably awful (mostly 'Beep Beep'/'Oops'/'Down & Dirty'/'Freak') that it drags the entire album down a few notches. It's a shame, because if you replace those with the Platinum edition tracks, then you've got an incredibly solid 12-track album.

One World Together At Home • Gaga's Fundraising Event
Choosing their best track to perform. TASTE. They all absolutely nailed it, but Leigh really stood out for me (as she always does with accoustic Touch). And those harmonies! Glad the public reception was positive over on Twitter, but I do roll my eyes slightly when people are still surprised at their vocals. They've been consistently incredible live for over 8 years now.

This has been getting me through some incredibly tough times at work the past few weeks. I genuinely think it might be top 3 Little Mix for me now. Even the Nathan Dawe remix sorta' pops off (although 'Flowers' is indisputably the most wretched and downright offensive chart hit of recent memory). Weighing in on the Spotify discussion from a few pages back (I'm only just catching up ): I do think its position is maybe a little underwhelming given that it's featured on Hot Hits twice, but their streaming performance — SOTME and Touch aside — has never been anything to write home about relative to other metrics. Their last success was WLM, and even that was kinda' shortlived and plumetted once the initial exposure wore off. IIRC, even some of their smashes like 'Power', SLS and 'Reggaeton Lento' hovered around the #10-#15 mark for the majority of their official top 10 runs, and that was during their imperial phase. Obvious exceptions aside, female artists in general seem to struggle to capture the streaming demographic in the same way males do (I've noticed that Mabel is sitting at #23 despite being #1 on Hot Hits), but the fact that it's actually responding positively to increasing exposure shows that there's at least some semblance of public apetite for it. I also think the fact that it debuted top 10 has made its performance seem worse than it actually has been. If it had a more organic start and hovered around the #20 mark for a few weeks while it built up airplay, then no one would bat an eyelid.
