  1. No huge losses for me so far bar 'Flowers'. Glad 'My Heart Takes Over' tanked, it's hideously dull and I'm still gobsmacked that it made the top 100, let alone beat out 'Disco Love'! Whole Lotta History' is awful too.
  2. That's... not how a rate works. If it's any consolation, your namesake probably would've gotten my third -1 instead had it made the cut. ;)
  3. Meh, I've always found it tuneless drivel. In fact, the Spice Girls' entire discography has aged horrifically for me, and I was never a huge fan in the first place. Ha, not with that 0 for 'All The Things She Said' you don't. Also, my gender's right there.

  5. Not overly fussed about 'Wings' dropping out, but I'm gutted at 'Salute', 'Reggaeton Lento', and especially 'Hair'. 'Shackles' is a huge loss for me too, although it seems it completely passed me by in the voting stage, so I can hardly complain too much.

Yeah, echoing this. I wanted to love this since there actually seemed to be quite a bit of hype surrounding it, but it's SO dated and generally a bit of a racket. I can see this completely bombing unfortunately.

I'll never understand how ALMA provokes such an extreme reaction on here. Her singles + collabs have all been straight-up bangers to me; only 'Phases' wasn't up to par, but I'd consider it inoffensive at worst. I'm excited to give this a listen later on!
  9. Yeah I'm another that really enjoys 'Always Be Together' despite how horribly cheesy it is. I opted for 'Make You Believe' and 'Case Closed' this time around. I can barely remember how either goes.
  10. Honestly, I haven't returned to DNA as a whole in years, so I'm struggling to fully remember a lot of these. 'Pretend It's OK', 'Stereo Soldier' and 'Red Planet' are the only tracks I go out my way to listen to now. That being said, 'We Are Who We Are' was always an immediate skip for me. The sentiment is nice, but the song itself is so juvenile and irritating.
  11. I'm surprised SLS is as high as it is -- it always felt somewhat underrated around here. I always forget how epic it is until I actually hear it, but I do agree with those saying that Jason's input ruins the song's sentiment. Pt 2 combined with the original's production would be perfect for me. 'Salute' is fantastic and wholly deserving of top 5; I actually regret not giving it a 10 now! That BGT performance still ranks among their best performances. My personal preference for the final 4 would be: Touch > Power > LMLY > Move, but all four are career highlights and would all be deserving winners. (I'm actually shocked that 'Power' made it this far, it always seemed pretty polarising around here. I'm ecstatic though, it's really become one of their signature songs).
  12. NMSS is incredible; a real album highlight from the offset, and I'm glad the girls realised that and released it instead of 'Oops' (even if that probably would've outsold it by far ). Shame it's the underdog of the GD era!
  13. Yeah, I've always found DNA slightly overrated (I believe I was one of the 6s). I normally adore Jesy's voice, but she sounds dreadful on the second verse. I would totally be here for a shock LMLY win.
  14. Ooft, shocked at that! Their two biggest sellers bowing out back-to-back. 'Black Magic' is great and I really fail to see how it can inspire two -1s, but I must admit I do prefer every GW and GD single over it. I'll still always be grateful for what it did for their career -- I doubt LM would even still be around without it.
  15. 'Hair' is criminally low. :( Yikes at SOTME. It's probably my least favourite of the GD singles, but I'd still rate it ahead of SLS, DNA, Black Magic, and especially IYLE?. It's such an anthem. Prediction wise, I'd guess either SLS or IYLE? dropping out before the top 10.
  16. They played 'Move' on R1 this morning. I legitimately forgot how incredible it is; it's kind of criminal that it's one of their more forgotten hits now. (Watch 'Move' be the song with the massive fall now).
  17. WHERE IS 'OOPS'? Even the girls themselves seem to hate it. HYD is really underrated; both the video and the Missy feature are pretty great. I imagine it would've been held in higher regard if it wasn't one of their biggest flops. Still low-key mad about that midweek release and the Capital FM snub (pretty much unthinkable these days).
  18. Jesy's opening on 'F.U' is by far the highlight; it's pretty forgettable beyond that. And I still unashamedly love 'Grown'. Based on Joe's clues, 'DNA' to be the massive faller pls. It's always been very average to me.
  19. I recall utterly despising 'You Gotta Not' when it was first released in the run-up to the album. I've come around to it a fair amount now, and it is admittedly a bit of a bop, but the lyrics are just unforgivable. (This version still knocks tho:) GW-0fBMrGwo 'Oops' out next. A contender for my least favourite song from them ever.
  20. No real losses, but I do quite enjoy 'Word Up'. 'Oops' out next please.
  21. It's on the brink of top 50 on Spotify without any radio play, I'm pretty certain it'll peak higher than #33. (Assuming they actually push it as a single that is).
  22. Singles: 06 Cannonball 07 Wings 07 DNA 06 Change Your Life 07 How Ya Doin' (feat. Missy Elliott) 10 Move 06 Little Me 6.5 Word Up! 09 Salute 8.5 Black Magic 10 Love Me Like You 09 Secret Love Song (feat. Jason Derulo) 10 Hair (feat. Sean Paul) 09 Shout Out To My Ex 11 Touch 10 No More Sad Songs (feat. Machine Gun Kelly) 10 Power (feat. Stormzy) 9.5 Reggaetón Lento (With CNCO) Extras: 07 These Four Walls 07 Weird People 8.5 Grown 7.5 You Gotta Not Bop 7.5 F.U. 04 Oops (feat. Charlie Puth) 09 Is Your Love Enough? Their recent singles run has been insane. Bop after bop after bop.
  23. I thought the vocals were pretty good actually? Not perfect by any means, but 'Power' is an incredibly hard song to perform live. RL was a lot better. I'm actually glad they opted for their older tracks. It should give the album a nice boost (although it would've helped if Dermot actually mentioned the re-release ). IYLE can smash in the new year when the Xmas songs vacate the chart.
  24. Great performance, but the camera work was bloody dreadful. I could barely see the choreo!
  25. Christ. Why? It's been and gone for weeks now. This was a prime opportunity to launch IYLE. It probably would've helped shift the album better too.
