I didn't have very high expectations, but it's all a bit dull isn't it? I wish at least one of their videos this era had something that resembled a storyline. I can't see myself returning to it very often, but I hope it at least helps the song out in the chart a little.

'Thunder' is the only redeemable thing on that list, so it's a shame it's as low as #13 (and outsold by the non-single 'Sexy Lady' :lol:).

Oh, that's CNCO in the teaser?! I truly thought it was a bunch of random males like the NMSS video. :lol:

Edit: Oh, I've just seen the teaser. They look stunning, but I would've preferred an outdoor themed video. Looks a bit similar to NMSS.

Yeah, I'm inclined to agree about it getting old fast. I was obsessed the first week or so, and it was among the most instant of their singles for me, but I haven't returned to it nearly as much as I thought. It doesn't help that the hype surrounding it feels a bit muted at the moment. I imagine/hope the video will breathe new life into it (whenever it arrives). Edit: Like Electro Paradise mentioned, the weather probably doesn't help. They really ought've released it earlier, but then I suppose it would've ate into Power's chart performance more than it already did.

It got removed from Hot Hits it seems. I noticed a similar thing with 'Power'; it really plumetted once it lost that exposure. Speaking of the Hot Hits, why on earth are the likes of 'Strip That Down' and '2U' still there? Also, yas @ CNCO/Little Mix, it seemed stuck at the 20-17 region for an eternity. Nice to see 'Swish Swish' edging closer to the top 50 too.

Ooh, wasn't expecting this. I'm glad, 'Swish Swish' has grown on me massively. Shame about the video though.

Yeah, I hadn't realised it was quite so commonplace. In my mind, they'd went C-B-A for most their singles. Perhaps the A-list rotation will line up with the video release? Since it doesn't look like it's coming tomorrow (or in the near future).

:rolleyes: They really do have an aversion to Spanglish songs, don't they? Edit: Actually, I hadn't realised both NMSS and 'Touch' spent two weeks on the B-list too. Still, I would've expected this to be promoted given how well it's done off the bat.

The desperation to keep this off ACR is nauseating. Can they move onto single 2 already? Excited for this! I loved 'Heartbeat Song' despite how basic it is.

Does their 'Love on the Brain' cover count? I'd vote for that. Jesy's vocals! :heart: 'Don't Let Go' is iconic though, and pretty much secured them the win/kick-started their career.

Absolutely not for me. Besides 'The End', it's probably my least favourite on the standard edition of Get Weird. I skip it completely now if it comes on shuffle. Honestly, their singles run for the GW era was perfect imo.

Yikes, I was expecting a little higher, although I'm sure it'll rebound in the coming weeks. Yeah, that's true. I guess its initial iTunes performance threw me a little; I honestly thought it'd explode and be a #1 contender, so to see it make such slow upwards gains is a bit disheartening.

Or not. Down to #29. :lol: I know it's early days, but their lack of streaming presence is really quite odd.

Admittedly, I did think it'd climb a bit faster, but I reckon it just needs more exposure. Radio 1 playlisting should definitely help. Debuts at #5 officially! :cheer:
