:lol: Yeah I feel you, it was all in jest. I'm going to struggle immensely when/if DNA gets knocked out, because the rest are all legitimate 10/10s to me. Hahaha, well remembered! I don't actually recall 'hating' it, but I certainly didn't rate it until the remix/video came along and its airplay kicked in. It's just so infectious, and probably my favourite of the Get Weird singles now. That Sean Paul impact. :P

I don't think 'Down and Dirty' is thaaat bad. Certainly not the 'worst song ever'. :lol: It's just outdated and the chorus falls a bit flat. I do agree with Jonjo that'd it probably go top 20 on name alone, but I'd still rather they just moved on to a brand new single. Failing that, a feature on another artist's track would be good. I'd love a Snakehips collab.

Oh, that would be me! I've always found it vastly overrated -- Jesy and Perrie sound awful on it. Jade's prechorus is fab though.

Wow at Salute. I knew it was a good trickle seller, but ~350k is amazing considering how brief its chart run was.

Rita has always been ahead on Spotify though, yet still behind them on the official streaming chart. I can see her promo boost wearing off soon too, so I'm not counting out 'Power' just yet.

Yeah, I agree actually -- I wasn't disputing that at all. My point was basically what Joe said; it's done well, but I still wouldn't consider its longevity unexpected or 'incredible' given the constant push it's gotten since release. Ah, I see! Makes sense.

Hardly surprising given how much it's been rammed down our throats; performed last night, #1 on airplay, and #1 on Hot Hits UK. Plus it's discounted and has been top of the 59p batch for seemingly an eternity. I'm praying they move onto single #2 soon.

I'm not sure what else is left to propel it up the charts. It looks set to enter this week, but only because of the new streaming rules. I'd definitely class it as an underperformance, unfortunately. I'm still salty at 'Best Behaviour' flopping. What a bop.
