  1. #10. Official top 10 sorta' seems out of the question now, but oh well -- it'll do fine overall regardless.
  2. Yeah, I'd agree with this. It's been ridiculously resilient on streaming (for a LM single anyway) + is still top 30 on iTunes combined. It would've had a mammoth chart run if it wasn't for Sheeran (and Drake). Plus, it still sounds as fresh as it did upon album release. What a song.
  3. I didn't realise Kygo had fallen as far 12 out of the top 5. It definitely could've been worse then, although NMSS is in 'Hot Songs' which still displays the 59p tag (altho admittedly it's on the third page iirc) so that may be a factor. Regardless, every time I think it's going to go into free-fall it rebounds. :cheer: Shame about Spotify killing their momentum. How odd that it climbed on Fri/Sat but dropped on a Sunday. However unlikely, I'm hoping it remains 59p this week. It does seem their team themselves are pushing for top 10 given that they kept the discount after the video release.
  4. I really does. I blasted their singles run from 'Hair' to 'Power' in the car and it was life altering. Not a dud among them. Great news about its Spotify gain. Impressive considering it was a Friday.
  5. You're probably right, I can't see them edging out any of the current top 10 this week given that they all have much stronger streaming, plus obviously Harry Styles will be entering. Suppose it could possibly get there in a few weeks if its sales hold up, but I imagine it'll slide on iTunes when they remove the discount. Top 20's still a fantastic result.
  6. So glad. I thought this was destined to be their lowest peaking single a few weeks back, so it's fantastic that it has a chance at top 10. I imagine it'll climb pretty quickly once it does go top 50 on Spotify.
  7. Admittedly I was a little worried when it was out the top 100 in iTunes and seemingly being snubbed by Capital, but I still would've took a flop NMSS over a smash 'Oops' any day of the week. Great to see it doing well though. Here's hoping they keep the discount come Friday.
  8. 1) Hair 2) Touch 3) No More Sad Songs 4) Shout Out To My Ex 5) Love Me Like You 6) Move 7) Black Magic 8) Secret Love Song 9) Salute ------ 10) How Ya Doin' 11) DNA 12) Wings 13) Change Your Life 14) Word Up ------- 15) Little Me ------- 16) Cannonball 1-9 are all amazing for me. The first era singles still sound good, but are definitely dated, and I've always found 'Word Up' pretty decent. 'Little Me' isn't bad, but it never should've gotten the single treatment given how strong an album 'Salute' was. 'Cannonball' is shit. I imagine 'Power' will join the top 5 for me when it's officially released.
  9. Little Mix for top 10 pls. Not fairing too badly given how comparatively recent 'Touch' is. I'll take anything bar a 'Bad Romance' win at this rate. Vastly overrated for me.
  10. I didn't realise it was still as high as #25. Fantastic longevity. Here's hoping it manages to claw a few more weeks too 40, since its chart run was cut short by Drake/Ed Sheeran. I imagine it would've become their longest runner otherwise.
  11. Beyond happy at this! Yass at the LGBT themes too, seems they're making up for the SLS fiasco. Their mums featuring is a lovely touch too. :)
  12. I can't see it being 'You Gotta Not' -- they seem quite tuned in with what the fans want this era e.g. releasing NMSS over 'Oops', which looked almost certain for the single treatment. I fully expect it to be 'Power'. The girls themselves seem really fond of it. SOTME > Touch > NMSS > Power tho. What a singles campaign (and not a ballad in sight!). I actually hope there isn't a 5th single, because nothing else comes close to the quality of those four.
  13. Yeah, I think this may be my favourite of the 3 singles upon initial viewing. SOTME was gorgeous but not as entertaining imo, and Touch is Touch... MGK cosplaying as Freddy Krueger is a little distracting though.
  14. Bar the annoying pause 10 seconds in, I actually really like it. It put a huge smile on my face, and the middle 8 onwards is epic. I'm certainly not seeing what's 'awful' about it. The setting worked for me; they already captured the summery vibe with SOTME -- retreading the same theme would be beyond dull. The 'Touch' criticism I got, and it was definitely warranted, but I'm not sure what there is to hate about this (bar the fact it's a little safe).
  15. Nice, get that older demographic! I don't think 'Touch' was playlisted by R2, was it?
  16. I tuned in at ~9 so must have just missed it. They played before midday too. :) Edit: playing it again now! Finally! :cheer: I've just had a gander at the preview pics and now I'm beyond excited. They look like superstars in this one: http://i68.tinypic.com/2vmc1tu.png It would be daft to up the price now; the video boost + discount combined could be the thing it needs to properly take off.
  17. Fantastic -- seems they played it just before 12pm. The discount is really working wonders. EDIT: They played it again before 5, so at least it's getting reasonably decent rotation. I know I'm bias, but it sounds incredible blasting in the car. I'm honestly surprised it hasn't taken off more.
  18. Yeah, I'm really hoping they come back for a short stint of promo; even a visit to Capital would suffice. This really need their support if it wants any hope of going top 20 with this. Wasn't there a observation a few days ago about them having a hidden video on their YouTube channel? I thought for sure the NMSS would be released yesterday. How far in advance are these things usually announced? I know for 'Touch' it was only a few hours before, but is that usually the case for their videos? I would've thought they'd like to build some hype first at least.
  19. Oh wow, they must be aware of its underperformance, because I believe this is the first time they've discounted a current single, isn't it? I wish they'd capitalise on the boost and release the video.
  20. This is bleak. The video really needs to be released this coming week.
  21. That makes sense, although it's such backwards logic since, y'know, it actually needs airplay to make a dent on iTunes. Then again, this is the same station that seems to think the big top 40 is somehow representative of music consumption in 2017.
  22. Capital took it off the playlist? Surely something is amiss behind the scenes? They've hammered everything Little Mix since 'Black Magic' -- even 'Oops' for a while!
  23. It actually has been playlisted by Capital -- I heard it this morning before 7.
  24. Agreed. It was such a fantastic album done so dirty by the single releases. 'Little Me' is where it all went wrong imo. It's a decent track but not single worthy in slightest; if they were so set on a down-tempo release, they should've opted for 'Towers'. I suppose this was when they were still trying to appeal to the pre/early-teen market with the self-help anthems though. God I'm glad they're past that stage. 'Move' did very well given how off-trend it was at the time, although I still believe they should've preceded it with 'Salute' in July/August. I know it still performed decently following BGT, but it always screamed 'huge lead single' to me, and being the 4th single, it never got much radio support. Replacing 'Word Up' with 'Competition' and rounding off the era with NFLY would've made for an amazing campaign.
  25. Good to hear! I hope the video release isn't too far off so that Capital actually start giving it a few spins. Their video boosts are always pretty substantial.
