It's a good track, a solid 8/10 for me. But honestly, I find it an inferior NMSS, so I think it'd be a shame to release it as a single ahead of it, or even 'Power'.
  2. I can't help but feel a little bit sorry for the girls. Both this and SLS have had absolutely horrendous reception. Admittedly, some of it is justified, but hardly to the extent both received. It's very little to do with the girls as well, since they sell the hell out of Touch for me.
  3. I agree with Jonjo, it's not half as bad as you lot are making out. It's nothing groundbreaking -- and admittedly, basic as hell -- but not terrible by any means. Just the internet doing the absolute most as usual. I think it's the long wait that's amplified everything; if it was released in Decemeber, the reaction wouldn't be nearly as harsh.
  4. I was slightly underwhelmed until the last minute. That alone makes the first 2 minute borefest worth it. Edit. Meh I quite liked the CGI. Guess I'm tacky.
  5. Thank GOD. Buzzing!
  6. Exactly my experience too! I'd probably rank it highest among their lead singles now. Sad to see it beaten by 'DNA'.
  7. Wait, has it been confirmed they pushed it back, or is it just speculation or you guys' part?
  8. Ah, great news! Hoping they perform 'Touch' but I imagine it'll be SOTME since they're guaranteed a nom for that.
  9. I genuinely have no clue, but I'll have a stab at it regardless: 8) SLS 7) Salute 6) SOTME 5) LMLY 4) DNA 3) Black Magic 2) Move 1) Touch
  10. Haha, God that's painful. Watch #41 be its peak now.
  11. SOTME has actually regrown on me immensely now that it isn't everywhere. I'd probably rank it in my top 3 now, alongside 'Touch' and 'Hair'. I personally hope it's the highest of their lead singles, but I imagine both 'Move' and BM will outdo it. Nothing unexpected, but still boo at 'Hair' only being #9. DNA out next please.
  12. Surely 2+ . I know they're never that hot on the girls, but 'Touch' is still a big hit and it's only on its 4 week on the playlist so far. Even 'Hair' got a month on the A-list. Yeah, I agree. Not releasing it is one thing, but to keep the fans completely in the dark as to when it's coming is a bit iffy, especially since we know it was shot months ago. Surely it's a result of the songs reaching a wider audience, rather than 'Mixers' streaming? I just think the past two singles have been a lot more accessible than say, LMLY or 'Hair'. It's partly why I'm so apprehensive of an 'Oops' release -- it sort of reverts them back to 'guilty pleasure' territory.
  13. 1) Little Mix - Shout Out To My Ex 2) Little Mix (ft. Jason Derulo) - Secret Love Song 3) Jonas Blue (ft. JP Cooper) - Perfect Strangers 4) Jonas Blue (ft. Zedd) - Starving 9) Zara Larsson - Ain't My Fault 10) Rihanna - Kiss It Better
  14. SOTME > Touch > NMSS > Power would even outdo GW's single run, which in hindsight, was bang on the mark.
  15. Yeah, echoing this. It was a great debut, but it hasn't aged brilliantly for me. 'Hair' to be a high as possible (although realistically, it'll probably be out in the next batch).
  16. So apparently this has been removed from the Capital playlist now. Odd since it's on the cusp of cracking the top 40. I hope they re-add it if does become a single. Although honestly, I'm still praying that the team realise it's had its day now and release NMSS instead. I doubt 'Oops' will get a high peak even if it does get the official single treatment. It's reminding of Drake's 'Controlla' and JB's 'Company' in that regard.
  17. Gobsmacked that HYD is below CYL and 'Little Me'. It's so criminally underrated. I believe I ranked it the highest of their first era singles.
  18. I like both, and I actually prefer them to quite a number of their album tracks, but I think we could tell a mile off that these would occupy the bottom 2 spots. 'Little Me' or CYL will be next I reckon.

  22. Damn, I forgot about 'Salute'. It deserved a whole lot more too -- ideally, I would've loved it to be the lead single for their second era, with 'Move' being pushed to single 2. It's still remarkable it went top 10 given that most of their hype had evaporated by mid 2014. I just wish it'd had more longevity, but again, radio wasn't particularly hot on them back then.
  23. HYD is what stings the most for me. It's probably my favourite single from their debut (which doesn't say that much, given that they've all aged pretty poorly imo). The midweek release completely botched its chances -- they weren't the radio darlings they are now, so they really needed that high peak to secure airplay. Capital didn't even playlist it at the time, which is almost unthinkable nowadays. It's a shame, because I was so sure it would be a hit following the remix + stellar video + seemingly rapid iTunes climb. Other than that, 'Move' and SLS both deserved to be huge, and I wish 'Hair' had taken off a little more, but they've all done brilliantly regardless.
  24. Ha, I just noticed that myself -- I thought I was going insane for a moment. It definitely used to list Capital.
  25. That's odd - I could've sworn I'd heard it on Capital numerous times the past few weeks (albeit I only listen at night). It's playlisted according to their website.
