  1. @1242896362280288262 G'won Leigh. Their tactic to capitalise on the Tik Tok hype is both clever and hilariously transparent, but 100% here for it if it helps the song's commercial prospects. I hope there's choreo in the actual MV too.
  2. I do feel radio might be a bit more hesitant this time around after the last few underperformances, so I'm definitely not expecting a 'straight to A-list' scenario like with Bounce Back, but I do feel R1 will maintain their usual level of support. They tend to give them a lot of random spins even when they're not on the playlist. Capital are a lot more fickle, but they did get on board with BB (albeit after a week or so) and even One I've Been Missing, so I hope whatever made them snub TAU entirely has been ironed out now.
  3. Ahhh this sounds immense! Loved Perrie's chat with Roman Kemp too. You can actually see how much she adores this track. Plus her mentioning that it was Alex's favourite track makes me even more perched after his FYN stanning.
  4. I... genuinely have no clue? A lot of us overpredicted 'Bounce Back' and 'One I've Been Missing', but both were major letdowns quality-wise, and the latter got no radio or playlist support. From the looks of things, they do seem to have a cohesive campaign planned, and the timing is decent (although Dua's album could definitely steal focus). I'm going for a top 20 debut for now and reserving full predictions until I hear the track.
  5. Indeed: 4kg5Mmi7Y6k The shopping mall backdrop is giving me major 'Glow' vibes and I love it. Scream at Jesy not even bothering to adhere to the 80s theme tho.
  6. Ha, I was in the middle of typing this almost verbatim. Something to look forward to amidst all the madness.
  7. @1242184617341464579 Ahh the instrumental, the overall aesthetic!! So here for this. Out on Friday too?! What a quick turnaround.
  8. Yikes. I know she’s not exactly a fanbase-driven artist, but that’s quite a dismal showing considering the level of support this has gotten right off the bat. Part of me hopes this flops miserably just to drill the message home to her that this material is the antithesis of what the fans actually want from her. I thought Hate Me’s underperformance might’ve done exactly that, but apparently not if this single is the follow-up.
  9. I honestly find it hard to fathom that this is the same artist that released 'Anything Could Happen' and 'Figure 8' eight years ago. Like, the sheer regression. Even 'Close to Me' and 'Sixteen' feel so far beneath her, as much as I bopped to them. This, like 'Hate Me', is just... fundamentaly unpleasant to listen to. Even the vocals are appalling. The fact that even her biggest stans are rejecting this speaks volumes.
  10. Ahhh, incredible performances + finally a crowd that actually gives them the reception they deserve. UK audiences take note.

I'm just happy Wasabi got a video, even if it doesn't get the full single push. Jade absolutely steals the show, you can really tell how much she adores this track.

I don't understand the near unanimous disdain for this. It's quintissentially a Mabel song in the sense that it's a bop but nothing groundbreaking. If anything, 'Mad Love' is the weakest link in her most recent discography for me (Xmas track aside b/c I have no idea how that goes). Of her singles, I'd actually rank this second to only 'Fine Line'. Ooops.
  13. SOTME > BM > WLM All three are iconic, but the breakdown and the wigs in SOTME just gives me chills everytime. Probably helps that it's my favourite track of the three.
  14. More Dua than the former pls. I can see their logic in going for a more 80s inspired vibe, given that 'Black Magic' literally revived their career the last time, and I don't doubt they'd sell it well, but a retread of that sound would come across slightly... lame six albums deep. Honestly, something even approaching the quality of 'Don't Start Now'/'Blinded...' would be incredible.
  15. Ah, fitting feat for an incredible imperial phase. Honestly, that era just got everything so right.

!!!! I'm trying not to get overly hyped (again) but God I hope they push this on radio and Spotify, tour video or otherwise. I honestly think it'd course correct the last three singles in such a massive way. Just imagine it pulled a 'Good As Hell' and smashed all these years down the line.
  17. In fairness, Get Weird is absolutely stacked with songs with 'Love' in the title so understandable mistake. 'Love Me or Leave Me' is decent enough but I wouldn't consider it a career highlight. I find it a bit too overwraught and forced, but the chorus is pretty undeniable. Towers', 'Monster In Me' and SLS are by far their holy trinity of ballads imo.

This is honestly dismal. It's everything that made her so untolerable last era condensed into one song. How did she go from Alarm and Ciao Adios to this?
  19.!! Over 'Cannonball', 'Word Up', 'Little Me' or even 'Bounce Back'?? Absolutely not.
  20. Did it really not even chart?? I thought it would've done decently on name alone. I've heard it on Capital quite a bit too!
  21. Jeez, I liked Dua last era but the 1-2 punch of 'Don't Start Now' and this has turned me into a fully-fledged stan. Unreal.

I lowkey love this -- it's better than 90% of DNA. How did this not make the cut when garbage like 'We Are Who We Are' did??
  23. So unbelievably happy for her! Her winning speech made me tear up.

Imagine if this was released pre-album and the BGT performance had gone ahead. Absolutely insane sales for a 4th single. Touch deserves to be their highest seller, but I'll settle for #2.
  25. Jesus Christ no. :puke2:
